Happy Juneteenth! Today we honor and celebrate Black resilience, culture, and freedom. This day is a reminder of the ongoing fight for equality and justice. Today, we celebrate our ancestors who fought so that we could be here, continuing the work. We celebrate all the sacrifices they made for us. • The work is STILL going on (ain’t that crazy??) We still have a long way to go, but we can go further TOGETHER! Allies, you can make a difference by donating to Black-led organizations like ours, supporting our mission to uplift and empower the community. #Juneteenth #HappyJuneteenth

Great morning beautiful people! This month, we've delved into the significance of black philanthropy, highlighting 5 key reasons why it's crucial: 🌟 Addresses Historical Inequities 🌟 Promotes Economic Empowerment 🌟 Enhances Community Resilience 🌟 Sets a Precedent for Inclusive Giving 🌟 Drives Social Change Now, let's explore avenues for your philanthropic contributions: 1. Support institutions and organizations that have positively impacted your journey, like your alma mater or a meaningful ministry outreach. 2. Back causes that resonate with you, whether it's eradicating hunger, supporting affordable housing, cancer research, or others close to your heart. 3. Embrace local giving to witness firsthand the impact in your community. Your time, support, and advocacy can elevate causes in ways national donations can't. Consider: 1. Your Alma Mater - GO SSU! Savannah State University 2. A cause you're passionate about, such as youth sports. 3. Embrace local support, like the Carlo and Nika White Foundation championing entrepreneurship and support for black businesses. Stay tuned for more tips on impactful giving! #Philanthropy #CommunitySupport #SocialChange

BLACK PHILANTHROPY Every year, billions of dollars are donated to nonprofit organizations, which receive free donor dollars and tax-free impact dollars, but more people think that it’s only wealthy white people who donate. People are wrong when they nurture the stereotype that African Americans are terrible charitable people or don’t have a culture of philanthropy because of the assumption of poverty. A good example came from "Madam C.J. Walker," "the first black woman to become a millionaire and a remarkable philanthropist during Jim Crow." She gave her money to help poor black communities, showing that giving is about more than money. In fact, philanthropy is a big business where black people play a core role. "Black doesn’t crack, and black gives back". Indeed, according to a report provided by the #Lilly Family School of Philanthropy# at Indiana University, 30% of AA members donate more and are twice as likely to believe their gift will have a significant impact. Moreover, 41% pledged to increase their gifts in the next five years. Despite the stereotypes, black people should continue to use a unified strategy to strengthen the philanthropy industry. #Blackhistorymonth# #Blackphilanthropy# #socialjustice# #racialequity

This #BlackHistoryMonth, #EliteHomeHealthCare stands in reflection and celebration. It's more than a calendar entry; it's an ode to resilience, achievements, and the ongoing quest for equality. Consider supporting a black-owned business, donating to a black organization, contributing to an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges), or taking the time to learn about an unsung hero in black history. Are you a nonprofit leader struggling to reach your annual funding goals each year? If so, let's connect.
What percentage of $11B will your organization secure this year? If you are a registered 501c3 with a program, your answer should be at least $10K in single donor contributions per year. If not...you need the Donor Hierarchy List (DHL) ™ The Donor Hierarchy List (DHL) ™ is our proven resource designed to help nonprofits build their $100K Donor List. It is especially important to the journey of nonprofit leaders and their boards because it emphasizes the importance of leveraging the right relationships at the right time with the right intentions. We just got news of another organization using the DHL to secure $15K last week. It can do the same for you, visit www.thebrandhospital.com to schedule an appointment to see how we can help your organization get on track to tap into that $11B donation pool using the DHL. #s2brandhospital #donorhierarchylist #nonprofit

I was disappointed this morning to wake up to a reminder that Fearless Fund is still amidst a lawsuit because they’ve provided grant opportunities to Black women. And it’s time to sound the alarm. 🚨📣 These types of lawsuits are incredibly dangerous, and we’ve already seen the aftermath of recent affirmative action decisions give companies and organizations the wiggle room to start to remove valuable programs and resources that could grow and advance black and brown communities. 🌱✨ Only 50% of companies survive after 5 years in business. That survival rate is 3% for Black women owned businesses given the same time frame. The reality is Black women owned businesses need additional resources to have a fighting chance for survival. 💸✊🏾 Watch the video below. Share with your community. And contribute financially, if you can, to any efforts surrounding this issue. Our work is far from done in creating equitable access for business owners. 💖 Watch here: https://lnkd.in/gWxVVFev Donate here: https://lnkd.in/gMDiVdCY

Happy Juneteenth! Today is a day for remembrance and celebration of how far the equal rights movement has come since 1865. But it’s also a day to recognize all the work there is left to do. Research has found that BIPOC-led organizations receive drastically fewer resources than white-led organizations. Only around 8% of funding goes to minority-led organizations and only 12% of all giving goes to Black-led organizations. 📌 Learn more about this important day and how you can make up some of the current gaps in nonprofit fundraising through community giving: https://lnkd.in/gAaE5WAt
