Having just taught a class on Performance x MOCAP, I talked about the changing nature of performance in film, TV, music videos and games. I think these are excellent examples (ABBA and KISS) of jumping into the future, into the Metaverse eventually, and opening new doors to reach fans. Use of avatars and motion capture of performance can be applied in real-time content (animation), live performances that are hybrid (in person and metaverse and even holographic) and metaverse completely where fans may be able to interact with your brand via ‘storyliving’ VR/AR experiences. All to say, your artistic persona can live forever on a whole other level and you can curate what that will entail. #mocap #liveperformance #musicians

TO: My fellow *genuinely-honest* professionals who also agree that most people are intelligent enough to discern *for themselves*, what is right or wrong. And also intelligent enough to discern what might be hearsay or baseless: ...claims, assertions, "reports" OR "news" and yes, even (for added emphasis: purported) "facts" or "science". *Naturally presuming pertinent material information is neither deliberately nor "mistakenly" withheld, of course.* And that we - aka "We the People" - do not need a bunch of self-appointed Nanny State Overlords. Data shows that not all base to final accidents are stall/spins. Rather, a goodly proportion are botched steep turns, similar to when pilots screw up a 360° steep banked turn at altitude. What's insidious is that a botched steep turn, base to final, can be a low angle of attack, ball centered loss of control.
