If the weather is rubbish and your not able to go for a short walk!! 🌧️ Try an indoor non strenuous activity 😃 One short indoor activity that is not strenuous and can be done in 20 minutes, providing benefits to your mental health, is practicing mindfulness or meditation. Here's how you can do it: 1. Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can sit or lie down without distractions. 2. Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Take slow, deep breaths, paying attention to the sensation of inhaling and exhaling. 3. As thoughts arise, acknowledge them without judgment, and gently bring your attention back to your breath. 4. You can also incorporate guided meditation by using smartphone apps or online resources that offer short meditation sessions tailored to different needs and preferences. Benefits of this mindfulness practice include reduced stress, increased self-awareness, improved concentration, and a sense of calm and relaxation. Taking just 20 minutes to dedicate to yourself and your mental well-being can make a significant difference, especially when the weather is unfavorable for outdoor activities.
