Have you heard of AI sub-agents? Simply put, it's a small trick that allows generative AI to take on large tasks. Without sub-agents, you might ask ChatGPT: "Please proof check this compliance report for my boss". With sub-agents, you might ask ChatGPT: "Please produce the compliance report that my boss requested". To achieve this, ChatGPT will break your task down into its component parts and carry them out: 1. Find the relevant files 2. Parse them 3. Aggregate the data 4. Proof check its own work etc. This requires significant time, computing power, and model intelligence, but these areas are all experiencing rapid improvements. Watch the 4 minute video below to see sub-agents in action. https://lnkd.in/e8ZAE6VS

An interesting AI is here. 😎 As I announced earlier, I am going to have my first workshop of 2024 in NYC. 'Coexist with Artificial Intelligence.' Find the link from my comment below. The AI in this video made me smile for two reasons. 1) My son recommended this AI to me. 2) The AI does coexist well in its own way. Do you like it? Drop a comment why. https://lnkd.in/e7z3bMMZ

Listening and reading Geoffry Hinton is a neverending discovery. He is the main scientific figure related to deep learning (aka AI), and without exaggeration I put it on the same level of cultural impact as Darwin and Freud. In the latest years he is clearly stating that digital intelligence is going to be way superior than ours. If you want to know why, take your time. This guy is not trying to sell anything, he is a true scientist. https://lnkd.in/dRx-MrEj

The more I observe the evolution of AI and the abilities to solve the biggest questions of our time, maybe in the next 10 years as raised in this video, the more I get the sense that our role with in the next 10 to 20 years as humankind will become philosophical. The core of existence as a species will have to be examined in order for us to make the right choices as other forms of intelligence resolve the questions us mere mortals cannot… In visualising the impact of AI on our future it seems that we are approaching a point where AI can propose public policy and associated legislation and my mind tells me that our role will be to debate it and ensure that ethics, morality is asured and that we are responsible to forge a society that creates and thrives, before the digital ink hits the dotted line. The way we utilise human intelligence will most likely be transformed to deal more with the existencial questions. The philosophical mindsets question the current direction of AI development, but my hope that philosophy will lead its progress sooner rather than later… I’m enjoying the thought provoking content on this channel #WesRoth. #ageofai #ageofphilosophy

You want to listen to this discussion if you're interested in AI, Business Central, or a mash-up of them both. We had the opportunity to speak with Dmitry Katson about the history of CentralQ and a behind-the-scenes discussion of how it all works. After this discussion, there is one remaining question: Will CentralQ now learn how it was born? Dmitry Katson Kristoffer Ruyeras #businesscentral #dynamics365bc #ai

Fascinating conversation with AI pioneer Geoffrey Hinton! 🧠 Hinton believes the future of AI lies in scaling: bigger models, bigger data, and bigger computation. This allows models to not just identify more patterns but also see analogies and drawing connections across diverse information that humans can't on the face of it, comprehend. As models grow, he predicts they'll become more creative, surpassing even human ingenuity. This virtuous cycle of scale, better reasoning, and increased training data through the interplay between intuition and reasoning will ultimately lead to a new era of AI that combines intuition and logic in ways we can only imagine. So whilst there are limitations with current models, they can be biased, inconsistent, hallucinates facts, and it doesn't truly understand what it's saying, at Atria AI, we are building with the future in mind.
