ElevateU will save families $420,000 in afterschool care costs for the 2024-2025 school year. Elmington Elevates' free afterschool program, ElevateU is in its 4th year of operation and provides a safe and enriching environment for 117 students at two schools in Nashville, Carter Lawrence Elementary and Alex Green Elementary. While free afterschool care has a direct impact on the children enrolled, it also has a positive impact on parents allowing them to work longer hours and increase their take-home pay all while knowing that their children are working on their homework, playing sports, and creating art with their peers and experienced adult leaders.
