As I look to the next few hours of wrapping up my work week, I started to reflect on all that has transpired (professionally) so far in 2024. - I transitioned off of an assignment with an amazing client after 2+ years, gaining experience, knowledge, and relationships along the way - Thanks to Smart Tech Inc. and their partnership with Varicent, I was able to spend a week at the beautiful Encore Boston Harbor for the annual Varicent Accelerate conference. So much was learned during this week, including the lesson to NOT forget your cellphone in your room when the conference center is at the other end of the hotel property! #legsweresore - I have become more active and adept at creating insightful (in my humble opinion) posts to share my experience and knowledge These things and so much more have made 2024 a great year for me. One of my favorite 'happenings' is that I have had the opportunity to learn more about the Varicent Incentives modules and how to utilize them to streamline your business. **Stay tuned on the Smart Tech Inc. page in the coming days for a post highlighting one such module** How has your 2024 been so far? Are you a stay-up-late person or a wake-up-early person? "I love to stay up late when I don't have to get up early the following day! I definitely need my sleep and must go to bed before 10pm if I have any chance of being productive on a weekday. I have never been an early bird!" 2. If you could have 1 superpower, what would it be? "This is actually really tough! My first thought was 'the ability to know how someone is feeling/thinking whenever I wanted to'... but that would be a really heavy power. I would actually probably, if given the chance, say 'to be able to fly' like Superman. Catch me in the clouds." 3. What is the best piece of advice that has ever been given to you? "'You are not your thoughts.' I can easily get into a spiral of yukky thoughts. When I learned they are just that—'thoughts' and not 'truths'—I was able to relax and go easier on myself. In work, the best advice I was given is 'it is only as hard as the next step.'" 4. What do you love about your role at Canopy SDA? "The people I get to spend time with, my colleagues, and the people we are building for."
