HANNOVER MESSE is under 200 days away 🤩. The ISED HM25 team has been on 🔥this week as we continue to accelerate preparations with our partners. Here are 3 things we are telling our team consistently: 1️⃣ “I trust you to advance this work” 2️⃣ “What do you need me to do?” 3️⃣ “Let’s schedule time to talk this through” The reasons: ➡️ Trusting teams = high performance teams. Also when we have this many work streams going on we need people to feel empowered to demonstrate leadership at all levels. ➡️ Analysts and managers need to work to become independent as appropriate at their stage of career development. Asking “what do you need me to do” encourages us to lean in when they need help and BACK OFF when they are doing just fine. ➡️ Collaboration and connection lead to better results. 📢 This year's Company Sports Day was nothing short of spectacular! 🥁 From the pumping tug-of-war to the laughter-filled post-it jumping challenge, it was a day that brought together colleagues from different departments, bonded us over shared goals, and reminded us of the power of teamwork. 🥎 The event kicked off with a high-energy Dodgeball Throw at the Sticky Vest challenge that set the tone for the rest of the day. This game had participants aiming dodgeballs at a teammate wearing a sticky vest, trying to land as many balls as possible on their backs. The result? A lot of fun, laughter, and a surprising amount of competitiveness! 🏓 Then came the Spoon Holding the Ping Pong ball Balance Walk challenged everyone's focus and balance. Participants had to balance a Ping Pong ball on a spoon with the mouth while racing to the finish line and passing to teammates without dropping it, showing how precision and patience often triumph over speed! 🎭 While the games themselves were fun and entertaining, the true essence of the day was about building relationships and breaking down barriers. With people from all departments participating, it was a great opportunity to meet and interact with colleagues outside of the usual work environment. 🤼♂️ The event ended with a high-energy Tug-of-War. It wasn’t just about brute strength, though – strategy and coordination played a big part in claiming victory. Whether teams won or lost, the real achievement was in how everyone came together and gave their best effort. 🌈 As the day ended with laughter, handshakes, and high-fives, it was clear that this year's sports day was a success.
