With the rise of food delivery apps and labor shortages, exacerbated by the pandemic, are reshaping how hotels approach in-room dining. The traditional allure of room service is waning, especially outside of higher-end properties. As our industry grapples with these challenges, it raises questions about the future of this once iconic hospitality amenity. “The room service experience heavily depends on the level of hotel,” said Simon Fricker, founder of Concorde Hospitality, a consulting firm. “At this point, mainly five-star luxury and ultra-luxury hotels can afford to keep the full in-room dining experience for guests. while lower-end brands struggle to keep up with the high cost of room service.” #washingtonpost

How to Make a #HotelKitchen? The title is a bit pretentious, but the article will contain the answers to the question of how to make a #hotel #kitchen, from the perspective of a cook and kitchen chef. Maybe it might be a little #more than what a #kitchenchef needs to know. My readers will decide this at the end of the article. My aim is to bring #innovative hotel kitchen #technologies to the agenda and at least share what I know, so that we do not make the same #mistakes we have made before in new hotel kitchen construction.
