🏩 Being a hotel salesperson in New York City is no joke. Here are some key takeaways from my past experiences: ✅Persistence is key: The market is tough, and getting to your point of contact can be challenging. ✅Relationship Building: Once you make contact, building relationships is straightforward due to the city's diverse activities and reasons people visit. ✅ Niche Knowledge: Understanding specific areas and their key players, like curators in museums, can significantly impact your success. ✅ Resilience Matters: The ability to keep pushing forward despite challenges is crucial. ✅ Focus on Goals: Staying focused helps in achieving targets in a competitive environment. 🙌✌️⭐️Cheers to all the hotel salespeople who embody resilience, persistence, and focus in reaching their goals. Thank you! #🙌✌️⭐️HotelSales #NYCHospitality #Resilience #Persistence #Focus

Let's inspire positive change in people & teams by crafting better leisure & learning experiences | Founder | Ontological Coach
And above all ... it's All About People 🤗 in a couple of examples lived ... Speaking about it seems to be easy act on it perhaps more difficult I have been able to live two experiences these days where the person who attended me was the protagonist in two very different hotels: a very simple one and a boutique one. In both cases, I booked at the last minute by phone and directly with these persons mentioned What were their answers? * "As you have spoken to me, I have made you a special price, cheaper than the price on the website" * "As you called me and you are arriving very late, I would like to give you a superior room" How easy to do something we didn't expect ! Adding that the service during our stay was good or very good, the result is that we ended up very happy. I think these two places are very fortunate to be able to count with these people, that are also good professionals. They put the people, us, as a priority. I understand that within their margin of flexibility and above all of their ATTENTION on us They made us feel the protagonists and CARED In our day to day work designing and planning programmes for groups, we come across very diverse situations that make us think about how it is worked in each place and at each moment this connection between the person who offers the service and who enjoys it In my opinion, it is worth reviewing these processes I think it is a matter of where each person acts from we see huge property investments and sometimes a lack of these quality connections Let's make Hospitality much more than nice places and bold activities Let's make guests feel cared and special #mice #incentivetravel #grouptravel #positiveimpact #bilbao #sansebastian #vitoria #rioja #spaindmc #boutiquedmc

🌟 DMC Liverpool | Award-Winning Liverpool Tours 🏆 | Tailor-made tours in Liverpool for private groups or individuals | 30 years of hospitality excellence
When it comes to exploring a city as vibrant and storied as Liverpool, a one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t cut it in my opinion At Liverpool Tour Experiences | DMC we believe every traveler has a unique story, and we’re here to help you write yours. That’s why we craft customised itineraries that reflect your personal interests, passions, and dreams. Take the group we recently hosted from the Netherlands. Half of them were die-hard Beatles fans, eager to walk in the footsteps of the Fab Four. The other half? Not so much. They were more interested in experiencing Liverpool’s lively pub scene and soaking in the local culture. So, what did we do? We designed an itinerary that catered to everyone. The Beatles enthusiasts got to visit iconic spots like John & Pauls childhood home and the famous Strawberry fields . Meanwhile, the rest of the group enjoyed an authentic pub stop on the route through some of Liverpool’s best-loved local Beatles locations, where they could relax, socialise, and experience the city’s vibrant atmosphere.- Best of both worlds and everyone is happy. This is what we do—create personalised experiences that cater to everyone in your group, ensuring that every moment of your trip is memorable, no matter what your interests may be. So, what’s your Liverpool dream? Whether it’s big or small, we’re here to make it a reality.

What advice do you have for handling difficult guests? ✏️ You honestly need to show empathy. I understand some people are hell-bent on being upset but remember to never take it personally and understand why they are upset. When a guest comes into your hotel you should think of it as them coming into your home. How would you want their experience to be in your home?

The true heart of hospitality lies in genuine care and empathy for others, treating them as honored guests in your own home. It's about creating an atmosphere of warmth, comfort, and welcome, where every interaction is infused with kindness, respect, and a sincere desire to make others feel valued and appreciated. At the core of hospitality is the understanding that every person is unique and deserving of individual attention and care. It's about going above and beyond to anticipate the needs and preferences of others, and then striving to exceed those expectations in every interaction. Whether it's a friendly smile, a listening ear, or a thoughtful gesture, the true essence of hospitality is found in the little details that make people feel seen, heard, and cherished. Loving to serve people as if they are guests in your own home means treating them with the same level of warmth, generosity, and attentiveness that you would offer to your closest friends and family. It's about creating a sense of belonging and connection, where people feel like they are part of a community and are welcomed with open arms. Ultimately, the true heart of hospitality is not just about providing excellent service or meeting basic needs—it's about creating meaningful and memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of others. It's about fostering genuine connections, building trust, and spreading joy and happiness wherever you go.
