Infor Chief Innovation Officer Massimo Capoccia does a nice job of explaining the new concept of "composable ERP" in this ERP Today article. The old, monolithic ERP systems of the past are giving way to composable "services" which are like application components that are integrated into the core ERP via APIs. Fascinating stuff! Here is an article that goes into how to use composable ERP and some other tips for digital transformation SUCCESS: https://lnkd.in/einYdCpF #digitaltransformation #erp #ai #artificialintelligence #sap #infor #cio #cfo cc Ronald Haantjes ☁️, Vanenburg, Arjen Westerink, Ardjan Baan

Thanks for sharing Dan Aldridge, ERP Software Expert. Its interesting how all the #ERP vendors websites sprinkle in the term "#composable". Yet its ironic that a main driver for the "composable" movement is enabling simpler switches among #bestofbreed sofware/applications and infrastructure. Is this a partnership opportunity or a zerosum endeavor for the traditional ERP vendors?
