This is how to calculate the load taken by each crane during #Tandem_Lifting it’s simply depends on the center of gravity location. The crane which is closer to the CoG of the load will take more load than the other crane. Safe Lifting Operations #lifting_operation

We're going old school today with a Throwback Thursday - remember those?! It's an excuse for us to say a big THANK YOU to Overhead Crane & Hoist (OCH) Magazine for publishing our warning about unsafe use of eyebolts for non-standard lifts. We cannot keep stating this enough: make sure you're using the correct eyebolts! While a sling and some hooks are usually suitable for a standard lift with easy connections such as a shackle and welded eye or plate, a non-traditional lift like a large motor or a flat gear can be much more challenging. In these cases, AMH recommends rotating hoist rings, as they are specifically designed to lift from the focal point and keep the load centered - traditional eyebolts can tend to sideload. I have seen some solutions of dogging devices for fixed wheel gates and stoplogs which are not so safe and I already saw some accidents because of this. I suggest for you to apply the simple and safe solution in the figure below. The load is not supported by the shaft (which has a adequa gap with he hole). The shaft is only to rotate the arm in "L" shape. the load is supported by the corner in contact with the embedded part and it is transmitted for concrete.

All UP stairlifts come with an automatic rotating seat. For each landing (top, middle or bottom of the stairs), the seat rotation can be set to the right or left. This makes it easy and safe to get on and off the stairlift. To prevent the seat from blocking the stairs when rotated, the seat can be easily swiveled back automatically by lifting both armrests. #upstairlift #devigroup #automaticswivelseat #safewayUP
