How can you ensure project stakeholders have up to date project information? ✏️ Just like anything in project management, it's important to have a process that has been communicated across the team. This process should be repeatable for any given project. It may look different depending on the tools you use. I've found it helpful to link the key resources in 1-3 key areas that teammates work out of on a daily basis. 1. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧: If you're using a project management platform, request your team members to make updates directly within the platform and in the tasks themselves. (𝘏𝘪𝘯𝘵: this works best if there are clear due dates and assignees). 2. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥: Use a central place for updates and quick questions. Bookmark your project plan and project document/deck here for easy access. 3. 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭/𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐤: We use a GTM deck to house things like project team members, key decisions, and team work streams. This can be shared with cross-functional teams to understand what's happening in the project at a higher level. There's a place for project status calls, but you'll want to work with your team to determine the right cadence and purpose of these calls.
