Today's episode of how not to succeed as an artist. Constantly compare yourself and your success or lack of it to other artists. Wonder what other artists are doing right that you're doing wrong. Try to figure out what's hot right now, what's selling best, and what collectors are looking for so that you can make some of it yourself and cash in. Turn down certain opportunities to show your art because they're beneath you. Only take shows with galleries you think can get you into better galleries.

I absolutely love this campaign! Here are my thoughts on why: Collaborative Reach: It's genius how they're bringing together the fanbases of three different groups, potentially even those who may have drifted away from the GAP brand. It's like a breath of fresh air, a chance to reintroduce the brand to those audiences. And with Tyla being a Grammy award winner and the addition of Jungle, the two combined have a monthly listenership of 37.2 million. Talk about a stellar reach! Their involvement brings such a youthful and exciting vibe to the campaign. Then there's The Arts Meet Fashion aspect. This campaign is the perfect fusion of art and fashion. From the captivating choreography to the stunning cinematography, the vibrant color grading, and the impeccable styling of the performers, every detail adds up to create a mood and energy that jumps right through the screen. It's engaging, it's fun, and it's connecting with the customers. And let's not forget about Familiarity. GAP has always been synonymous with Americana classics and an optimistic spirit. While recent marketing efforts might have strayed a bit, this campaign feels like a true return to form. It's like a nod to the classic Khaki Swing commercial, Khaki a-go-go, and more. It's like GAP saying, "Hey, remember what we're all about? Well, we're back!" Overall, I'm thrilled to see GAP taking this exciting direction. They're not just moving forward; they're getting back to their roots in a fresh, modern way. It's the kind of move that makes you sit up and take notice.
