Last Friday, 3/22, we hosted an Open AI Hackathon at ETL! This event was a great opportunity for students to collaborate and develop new ideas. It lasted until 1 a.m. the next day, during which the team divided and executed their tasks efficiently. The results were presented the next day during the BarCamp event, which took place at Blount Hall at Santa Fe College! We're looking forward to executing more Hackathons in the future! #Hackathon #OpenAI #EmergingTech #Cyber

Come take some data science courses with me on Level Effect. They have a great platform for learning and we are stoked to be partnering with them. The first one from GTK Cyber will be our Introduction to Python programming for Cyber Security. I've been working on this one for awhile now and it's all ready to get you prepared to do data science using Python. I'm around on the level effect discord if you want to chat or have questions about the courses or would like some advice on data science learning. Level Effect
Following up from last week, we're excited to announce the course landing pages are NOW LIVE for our collaboration with GTK Cyber! check them out and get on the waitlist for their launches within the next 1-2 months! 🚀 🐍 Python Programming for Data Science and Cybersecurity - https://hubs.li/Q02tP98Q0 🔬 Applied Data Science for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity - https://hubs.li/Q02tNRZ40 We'll be announcing launch giveaway and CTF details in the coming weeks, along with some podcast talks with the authors! Shoutout to Jatin Yadav, Data Engineer at Cognizant, for securing 2nd Runner Up in the Cyber Threat Detection Hackathon, organized by MachineHack in collaboration with Shell! 🚀 Jatin's innovative approach involved transitioning from manual code extraction to leveraging FLAN-T5, enhancing the model's tokenizer for improved accuracy. His persistence and expertise with LLMs like BERT, LLaMA, and FLAN-T5 (xl variant) led to outstanding results. Kudos, Jatin! 👏 Stay tuned to dive into his detailed winning approach and solution notebook to see how he secured the top spot! 🤖 Day 16 of 24: TryHackMe's Advent of Cyber 2023 🤖 Just wrapped up Day 16 and today's challenge was another one related to machine learning, which I always love to see 🤗 Today's Objective: To make use of ML to solve a CAPTCHA, a small test that included identifying the numbers in an image, and continuing with a brute force attack to hack back into a compromised system. 🎯💥 Machine Learning in Practice: Building off of the challenge related to neural networks, a CNN model was trained, hosted, and sent CAPTCHAs through a brute forcing script. 🧠 🎉 Day 16 complete ✔ If you're interested in joining the fun: https://lnkd.in/gvpHDUuc #AdventOfCyber #Day16 #MachineLearning #CNN #NeuralNetworks #Cybersecurity #BruteForce
