However, there is a recurrence rate for this procedure, part of which can be attributed to the untreated posterior rectal prolapse component. Here we describe a robotic Orr-Loygue rectopexy where an additional posterior mesh rectopexy is performed. An XL storage and handling solution for robotic trays! Storing and handling robotic instruments is no easy task, let us help you making things easier! As the trays are larger, they often hang over the edge of the shelf and the packaging tends to be more prone to cuts, tears and holes: they need a little bit more TLC. Which is why we are so delighted to (re)introduce the HALYARD* XL Trays! You may be familiar with the HALYARD* transportation tray: did you know that the polypropylene transportation tray is also available in an XL format (KL-1500XL)? The XL tray measures 69 x 43cm and fits the robotic optics trays. As a reminder, the transport tray is used for sterilization and storage of surgical instruments. The trays are re-useable and are designed for storage and transport within a hospital. The transport tray can be decontaminated in the same manner that surgical instruments are cleaned and reused in your facility. The approximate life of the tray will be 500 cycles or about 2 years.
