We're seeing the same regarding value in two ways with the first as you've laid out. Own brands are a huge story across all retail categories and lots of experimentation in how deep to go, which categories, etc. The second is more quality focused but still price aware. The brands doing this well are those like Polene where it's a relatively attractive price (but not low price) and huge proposition in quality. This is harder for legacy brands but lots of experimentation in pushing where / how far to invest in quality. The clear thing though is the flight from the uninspired middle is real--it better be cheap or outstanding!
