What expectations should you have of your therapist? First of all, your therapist should tell you at some point early in your sessions what type of treatment he or she is utilizing to move you forward to a healthier place. Not only that, but a clinician with integrity owes it to their client to utilize proven methods that have been gleaned from years of study. This clinician should be able to tailor these principles to to fit your individual needs and goals.

Embrace the Journey in Physical Therapy As a young physical therapist, the path you tread can sometimes feel overwhelming and challenging. But remember this: Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your career. Just as we encourage our patients to push through tough rehabilitation sessions to achieve their best outcomes, we too must persevere through our own professional trials. Keep going!
