Enrollment Management Leader | Change Agent | Big Picture Thinker & Innovative Implementer | Vice President | Mom of Boys
It's been four days since I got home from NAGAP and I'm shifting through notes and flyers, trying to decipher the answer to the inevitable "what did you learn?" questions at the office. 🤔 First, I really felt the community of GEM professionals. We were talking the same language, sharing the same challenges, and considering the same solutions. It felt amazing to be surrounded by like-minded professionals. For my colleagues in dental and health professions education, check out NAGAP for your professional development! Data reigns supreme! Every session had data and graphics and charts. I can see how interest in grad fairs dropped.... and is now on the rise. I can see the trend data social media platforms (Instagram is still 🔥). I can see survey data that applicants don't want profiles of current students, they want to connect with them. There were also many personal tidbits about letting go of limitations, actualizing self-love, and finding the positive of "side B" moments in life. My list of notes is long and I can't wait to implement the handful of ideas that will work at ADEA. And share these insights, plus connections and swag, with the awesome people in the office. #sharingiscaring #professionaldevelopment
Sounds like some good stuff
