The article / report written with Stefania Gargioni on our experience in EuroClio - European Association of History Educators “Train the trainer” workshop (Den Haag- September) within the MONCHAL (Monumental Challenge) project is now out on the Euroclio Blog.

The just concluded training “Power of personal stories in confronting oblivion” (Dachau, Deutschland) was focussed on the importance of biographies and personal stories as tools for countering denial and distortion of historical facts connected to the #Holocaust and other #genocides and mass crimes committed during WWII. Togheter with 24 teachers and educators from formal and non-formal fields, I had the chance to learn new methods, exchange best practices, enrich my curriculum and develop new contacts with colleagues and members of civic society organizations. The training is organized as part of the project “Power of Personal Stories in Confronting Oblivion (PPSCO)'', funded by the European Union through the programme CERV - European Remembrance.

📚📖The fruictful week spent at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies provided me with a fertile field to cultivate a research project based on new perspective on Holocaust. 🎓📜🧑🏻🎓The vivid accademic atmosphere surrounding me during this week, was the perfect background and support for my work on resources and documents. 🙏I am extremely grateful for the incredible chance of professional growth I was offered by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington D.C. ❤️

I ‘ m proud for having been one of the 5 experts of the 2024 Scientix EU #STEM Discovery Campaign🥳 The Campaign ended some months ago and it has undoubtedly been a great success. With more than 700,000 participants and 4600 activities taking place during the campaign across Europe and beyond, we have exceeded expectations and helped to bring us all closer together for yet another year, through the magic of #STEM. 🧬🔬⚗️🔭🧪 I did my best for motivating more and more participants to engage in this global initiative and for this I receveid a personal Certificate of Achievement 🧑🏻🎓 I wish my dedication inspires other colleagues and helps them get better every day so that we can continue to serve this cause. ✈️ Come back from a very fruictful meeting of authors/ history experts 👨🏻🏫👩🏼🏫of the EuroClio - European Association of History Educators project “Making Visegrad History Digital “ in Wroclaw University, Poland. 🎯The goal of this project is to create teaching module kits on the history of the state socialism period in Central Eastern Europe. This is a topic, which on a detailed level is little covered in most countries’ history lessons, and Italy is not the exception. 😊So proud and excited being in this team and doing my part #history in my ❤️
