As we come to a close on Women’s history month, and after attending my company’s leadership luncheon to celebrate an award I am so honored and humbled to be a recipient of, I wanted to share 10 things that I have learned in the last decade as a leader and mentee in my career. These are a reflection of who I am today, and how they’ve helped shape me into the leader I am. 1. Fail fast and forward. 2. Being genuinely curious and interested will always pay dividends working in customer service. 3. Someone else’s success is not your failure. 4. Lead by example. Lead by example. Lead by EXAMPLE. 5. Success is the product of your daily habits, not once in a lifetime transformations. 6. Asking for help and asking questions does not mean weakness. In fact, it shows great strength. 7. Being receptive to constructive criticism and feedback will always help your growth more than it will ever hurt it. 8. Emotional intelligence is KEY. 9.
