The diversification story for Qualcomm continues with the acquisition of Foundries.io becoming a more solid chip to software and service stack player in massive potential IoT segment. Great monetization opportunity here for Qualcomm beyond just selling silicon. As we enter the second wave of IoT growth as the global macro landscape stabilizes, secure, open middleware and AI at the edge becomes paramount. Qualcomm play from chip AI compute, connectivity modem to RF components to loud-native open software & AI stack tools and "to the cloud" connectors with the Aware platform forms an excellent offering taking care of system level plumbing to effectively and effciently build edge to cloud IoT solutions and catalyze the time to market for IoT developers. Kudos to Qualcomm and Foundries.io teams!! #embeddedIoT #Linux #IoT #5G #edgecomputing #edgeAI #cloudnative #developers #AIoT #open $QCOM

🚀 Just wrapped an incredible few days at #HPEDiscover Atmosphere 2024 in Las Vegas - and happy to share key takeaways in my latest blog post: "AI Networking Emerges: Insights from Hewlett Packard Enterprise Discover Atmosphere 2024." Highlights include: ➡️Private 5G radios and IoT Gateway enhancements paving the way for more connected devices and smarter networks. ➡️A remarkable milestone with 4M networking devices and 1 billion client devices managed by HPE's AI Networking system. ➡️In-depth discussions on Observability and integrations with newly acquired OpsRamp capabilities, highlighting the exponential improvement in network management capabilities as more devices are connected. ➡️The 650 Group team (Alan Weckel and myself) participated in two separate on-stage presentations during the conference. The first related to AI Networking where we discussed the nearly $100B networking and network security-related end-market opportunity that the HPE Aruba Networking team will participate in in five years. In addition, we highlighted how the AI Networking sub-segment of this total market is expected to grow at a 5-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of nearly 40%. ➡️I presented alongside two of HPE Aruba Networking’s pioneering resellers (Mike Caruso of NWN Carousel and Justin Hardisty of GDT - General Datatech) who specialize in offering Network as a Service (NaaS). I highlighted HPE Aruba Networking’s market share lead in Vendor-based NaaS, and emphasized that if vendors and resellers don’t participate in NaaS, they won’t experience a growing total addressable market in the networking market. Antonio Neri, Jensen Huang, NVIDIA, David Hughes, Phil Mottram 🔗 Read the full analysis here https://lnkd.in/eUSGR8vR #AI #Networking #TechNews #Innovation #HPEArubaNetworking #5G #IoT #SASE #CloudComputing #AIComputing #NaaS

At kp, we're always on the lookout for ways to enhance our solutions, drive innovation, and truly make a difference. That's why we're genuinely excited about our partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in the Industrial IoT world. It's not just about advanced technology; it's about the trust, support, and speed they bring to the table, helping us turn our visions into concrete realities - as expressed by Maik Ewald, Group Director IT, Infrastructure, Klöckner Pentaplast, who says: "The great thing about the collaboration with AWS, is the support, confidence and speed that turn our ideas into realities.” In an incredibly short period of just three months, we've gone from initial discussions about projects that we’ll be delivering in partnership, to piloting at a site, and now, we're extending globally, across 28 locations. It's a testament to the powerful collaboration and what can be achieved when we work with partners who believe in speed, support, and trust as much as we do. Looking ahead to our upcoming project with AWS - a visual inspection project designed to enhance accuracy and efficiency through advanced camera image analysis, we are taking another step towards excellence, enhanced by our collaboration with AWS and Syntax Systems Deutschland. #AWS #Syntax #Technology #IndustrialIoT #IoT
