𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐲 Five years ago, I had never heard of this concept. Two years ago, the thought of it made me shiver. I was scared and worried that I’d never understand it, or that I’d never find mine. It seemed really big and far from me. But now? Well, now I can confidently say there’s more clarity than when I first started. I’m grateful for my university chaplain, who has done so much in breaking down this topic, both through the books we read and in the sermons he teaches. Purpose is the "𝐰𝐡𝐲"—the reason for our existence. It’s the one thing I must succeed at, or else everything else won’t matter. Most profoundly, my purpose starts and ends with God. 𝐀 𝐦𝐲𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞: 🌱Purpose is far away from you and hard to discover. I’ve come to learn that God created every person for a reason and equipped them with the potential they need to fulfill it. Self-discovery and intentionality are important, but the more I nurture myself and stay with God at every step, the clearer it becomes. What’s already inside of me begins to rise to the surface. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞: 🌱One thing purpose has helped me with is overcoming comparison and inferiority. Understanding that we are all different and made for unique reasons reminds me that there’s something about me that no one else has. We may have a general purpose, but different assignments. This doesn’t point to God’s partiality or His love for some more than others, rather it points to His uniqueness and infinite nature. We are created for a reason, and it’s a great one. Praise God! Have a blessed and purpose-conscious week.🤍💫 #purpose #Monday #docexplorer

Happy Leap Day! *The reward for conformity is that everybody likes you except yourself. *It is better to be respected, than thought of as "nice" simply, because people want you for a doormat. *True respect is better than false affection. *You can be compassionate and still have boundaries. *You CANNOT make everyone happy (Shoot... they even killed Jesus). *If you used to be a people pleaser, people will get mad when you say, "no more!" *True peace is JUSTICE, not one person/group keeping quiet for an illusion of peace. *Refuse to be a victim, no matter how much it appeals to your ego. *Know who you are so that the labels of other people do not stick. Amidst the tranquility of #Ramadan, I find myself drawn to the transformative power of intentions. This sacred month serves as a reminder that true spiritual growth lies not in doing more, but in the sincerity and depth of our intentions—a concept I've come to cherish as the cornerstone of my Ramadan journey. One particular moment stands out vividly in my mind—an instance where a simple prayer offered with a profoundly sincere intention led to a sense of peace and connection that words cannot capture. It was in that moment that I understood the essence of raising intentions—of infusing each action, each thought, with a purity that transcends mere outward deeds. This Ramadan, instead of seeking to accomplish more, I am guided by a singular focus: to sincerely raise my intentions. Whether it is breaking my fast, offering prayers, or extending kindness to others, the intention behind every act now holds greater significance—a sacred thread that binds me to the essence of this blessed month. As we navigate the spiritual landscape of Ramadan, we are reminded that the true essence of devotion lies not in the quantity of our deeds, but in the quality of our intentions.

GIFTS Blessed are those who can give without remembering and take without forgetting. - Elizabeth Bibesco Being reciprocal doesn’t always define a gift. Nature gives to us constantly and without expectation or acknowledgement – Be like nature. There are times when we don’t even realize we have given something to someone that they cherish - and while intentions are key, sometimes there isn’t a reason we give; it was as natural as breathing. On the receiving end ? Always, always, say a little thank you. ✍️🏼Author|debbie lynn ***Personally I believe gratefulness, the smallest but most sincere act of thankfulness, is a gift too. Gratefulness blesses the giver and opens the path to blessing. 🌻 ~ Hantie T| A Friend 🎨Art Credit|Girly Art on Pintrest (Open to see the full length beautiful image/ First comment)

An Engaging Life... Engaging in good deeds and demonstrating righteousness are complimentary to each other, but distinct. The first is an act of kindness that helps people and makes them feel good.... such deeds appeal to us as humans (Titus 3:8,14). The second is an act of rightness that points to a standard upheld through a person's conduct (Philippians 2:14-15). This can draw attention with both good or bad reactions from people. God asks His people to be shining lights of His kindness through engaging in good deeds (Matthew 5:16) and be shining lights of His righteous character through their godlike behavior. "Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled." (1Peter 3:13-15)
