ENERG4 is revolutionizing the critical minerals supply chain by transforming environmental liabilities into valuable resources. Our innovative technology enables the extraction of Rare Earth Elements, Critical Minerals, and Precious Metals from: • Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) & AMD Sludge • Coal Combustion Residuals (CCRs) • Coal Slurry from Preparation Plants • Gob Piles & Coal Refuse Deposits Did you know? The Appalachian Basin alone contains an estimated 6,000 metric tons of Rare Earth Elements flowing through its waterways due to AMD. With domestic demand for critical minerals expected to quadruple by 2040, our solution addresses both environmental restoration and resource security. We're not just cleaning up legacy mining sites - we're creating a sustainable, domestic supply chain for materials essential to America's clean energy future. #CriticalMinerals #CleanTech #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #Mining #CleanEnergy #Innovation #GreenTechnology

There are several concepts that I find interesting in this article: 1) "The mining industry is currently one of the most significant contributors to planet-warming emissions — but it's on track to become one of the most important sectors for a net-zero future"; 2) "Annual demand for energy-transition metals will grow fivefold by mid-century from 2023 levels ... Yet that doesn't mean we need to extract more stuff — in fact, we need less"; 3) "The metals that will be extracted into the future can also be recycled". All the above if we will manage to reduce our reliance on coal; and that is a completely different story... #mining #recycling #coalpolicy #newtechnology

Could the future of clean energy hinge on trash? The IEA thinks so—and recycling critical minerals might be the game-changer we need. 🌍 A groundbreaking IEA report reveals how scaling up critical minerals recycling could cut new mining needs by up to 40%, saving costs, reducing emissions, and enhancing energy security. However, regional disparities, policy gaps, and environmental concerns must be addressed to unlock its full potential. #CleanEnergy #Sustainability #Recycling #Minerals #EnergyTransition #GreenTech #CircularEconomy #EnvironmentalImpact #BatteryRecycling #IEA Read the full article on Rare Earth Exchanges: https://lnkd.in/gZCi-Ztq

There's no question about it: #EVs are better for the planet than gas cars. 🌱 But many Americans are still concerned about the environmental impacts associated with building EVs, like mining for the #CriticalMinerals that make up their batteries. By investing in #BatteryRecycling, we can create a closed-loop economy where critical minerals are reused over and over again, protecting the Earth's finite supply of resources while getting greener cars on the road. https://bit.ly/4egOg69

Lithium is a key mineral to the global Energy transition. Supply vs demand is getting stable and therefore prices have been recovering. Recent price drop was a bump in the road, and does not affect the long term view for Li.
This soft silvery metal is a key ingredient in the #energy transition – so why has the price of #lithium dropped so sharply? The mass electrification of practically everything from cell phones to lawn mowers to vehicles (and even planes!) involves a heavy supply of materials like #Lithium, #graphite, and other valuable (limited) resources. In order to maximize global, scalable sustainability, we must develop responsible ways to #mine, #process, and most importantly #recycle these #materials. GQI has technologies for multiple stages of the #mineral lifecycle as it relates to the #bulkhandling of #batterymaterials to maximize efficiencies during #drybulkhandling and #drybulkprocessing Can we talk about it with you? https://lnkd.in/gSwRJUu5 #blackmass #batteryrecycling #screening #materialprocessing #mining

Lithium - 'A white gold' in revolutionizing energy storage and transition. The global lithium market was valued at USD ~9 billion in 2022, and is forecast to grow at a CAGR of ~15% to reach USD ~32 billion by 2032. This is primarily driven by bolstering demand of energy storage solutions, such as batteries in numerous products, electric vehicles, solar energy, wind energy, etc. Moreover, since the market demand of electric vehicles is rebounding, as compared to slight slump in past a few years globally, it will give an edge to lithium demand down the line.
