Join us in celebrating #NationalFoodBankDay! 🎉 This August, our fun-filled Fridays were all about making a difference. From sporting our fave team jerseys to parading around in silly hats, our Empeople came together in the spirit of giving. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve raised a whopping $625 which Empeople doubled up to hit a total of 🌟 $1,250! 🌟 These funds are now headed to help feed local families through River Bend Food Bank and Maine Credit Union League Ending Hunger Campaign. No one should go hungry, so let's keep making a difference, one meal at a time. 🍽️

I LOVE food rescue. To me it's a perfect business solution to 3 problems. 😠 Hunger. I hate being hungry. No one should be hungry. 🗑 Waste. Throwing useful stuff away infuriates me (especially with food, which takes a ton of effort to produce in the first place!). ⛽ Energy. Food is fuel. If the whole community is fueled with the right kind of energy...imagine how much better off we all would be. That's why I love it when teams like The Open Door and Second Harvest Heartland connect food to families. What's one of your favorite business solutions that solves multiple problems at once?
We're breaking records all over the place—all thanks to donations from local stores and the tireless work of our many food rescue and warehouse volunteers! 👏Give yourselves a hand!

Here are 5 money tips for election season: ⏰ DON'T TIME THE MARKET Election seasons often bring market volatility, but trying to time the market can lead to costly mistakes. 😣 🫱🏼🫲🏽 SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITIES Rather than focusing ONLY on political donations to national campaigns, consider donating to local charities tackling issues important to your community. ❤️ 📝 STICK TO YOUR BUDGET Election season can affect how you feel about spending, but don’t let the news cycle or political rhetoric derail your budget. ❌ DON'T BUY INTO THE HYPE 🙅🏼♀️Avoid making significant financial decisions based on campaign promises or expected election outcomes. 💪🏻 BUILD YOUR EMERGENCY FUND Ensure your emergency fund is well-stocked to provide peace of mind and security when changes occur. 💰 Above all, focus your energy on the financial factors that are within your control! 😌 #moneymaven #masteryourmoney #bellinghamwa #electionseason #vote #financialplanning #bellinghamadvisor

Turning T-Shirts into $75,000 for Wildfire Relief A few months ago, we decided to do something that would make a real impact during one of the toughest times. Through our t-shirt campaign, we raised $75,000 for the Canadian Red Cross to support wildfire relief efforts. It wasn’t just about the shirts. It was about how we structured it—leveraging a unique pre-order strategy that turned community support into a real force for good. Now, with the holidays around the corner, we’re ramping up again with our giving garments campaign. Same approach: buy something, make a difference. This season, every purchase goes beyond just the product. https://lnkd.in/gvheSXVa #FundraisingSuccess #WildfireRelief #CanadianRedCross #CommunitySupport #TshirtCampaign #PreOrderStrategy #GivingGarments #shorts
