How you can enhance your aerial skills without feeling overwhelmed.
Here are our favourite tools and strategies to get it done:
✔️ Warm up thoroughly: Always start your sessions with a good warm-up to prevent injuries and prepare your body for training.
✔️ Focus on proper form: This can feel a bit repetitive, but perfecting your form really helps with injury prevention and sustainability.
✔️ Use progressive overload: Gradually increase the difficulty of your workouts to continuously challenge your muscles and improve strength. This is key to really help with breaking through plateaus.
✔️ Incorporate flexibility exercises: Regularly practice flexibility exercises to enhance your range of motion and performance.
✔️ Mix up your routines: Vary your training routines to keep things interesting and prevent plateaus.
✔️ Stay consistent: Consistency is key; stick to your training schedule to see steady progress. Avoid overloading and learn to habit stack and integrate movement snacks.
✔️ Rest and recover: It is tempting to always want to go to class but allow your body adequate time to rest and recover to avoid overtraining and fatigue.
✔️ Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your workouts to stay hydrated and maintain peak performance.
✔️ Track your progress: Keep a log of your workouts and progress to stay motivated and see how far you’ve come.
✔️ Get professional coaching: Seek guidance from a professional coach to receive personalized training and expert advice.
✔️ Create a mini conditioning programme to target your areas to improve and to build the strength and endurance needed for your progress.
✔️ Practice mindfulness: Stay focused and present during your training sessions to improve your performance and enjoy the process.

You’ll start your Challenge with an individual consultation to discuss your exercise history and goals. With movement screening and body composition analysis, we’ll build the foundation for your bespoke training journey.

What is SGPT?
Small Group Personal Training does what it says on the tin
it’s personal training in small groups of up to 6 people to each coach, with the added motivation of a fun team dynamic.
SGPT is about getting REAL RESULTS for REAL PEOPLE, focused on what you need to get ahead and reach your goals.

What are Group Classes?

What’s the best method of training?
Is it push pull legs? Is it upper lower? Is it a bro split?
My simple answer - the one you enjoy most, the one you will turn up to over and over again.
If you enjoy things in life you are going to progress and you’re going to excel in them.
When I sit down with a client for the first time I assess and gauge what ticks their boxes, the style in which they enjoy training and what’s going to make it something they’ll thrive in.
Yes there may be certain movements in which I think their physique could benefit from but if they don’t connect or importantly enjoy performing it, chances are they won’t give it their all.
Same goes for the actual programme and split, the client coach relationship is about getting the most out of the individual and that’s so much more than what the coach wants from an individual.

500 squats!
My friends does 500 squats as part of her morning exercise routine before she goes out to start her day. And she still has her gym routine in the evenings.
This is wild, by any yardstick of measurement.
If you doubt it, just try to do 20 squats and give feedback. I am currently at about 100 squats a day and counting. E no easy!
This 500 squats may seem like an impossible feat until you consider that she didn’t start with this number on her first day.
Starting small is the key because you are able to build momentum. Establishing small positive habits creates a sense of accomplishment, which builds momentum. As you achieve these small wins, your confidence grows, motivating you to tackle larger challenges.
Over time, you are able to achieve huge results by starting small to avoid overwhelm and showing up consistently to build momentum while creating that compound effect that makes you to do the nearly impossible.
Just know that you well able to do far more than you give your self credit for, you only a need a system that helps you bring out that hidden potential in you.

Today, I challenged myself with a little monkey business 🐒 by trying out the monkey bar... backward 🔄(watch till the end to see this)! Not only does this unconventional move target different muscle groups, but it also enhances coordination and balance.
Was there any point to doing this backward?
- Not from a training perspective?
Then why do it?
- Sometimes it's just to be able to do things without your body restricting you from doing the same.
The reason I've been really enjoying unconventional training is that you're able to do a lot of things you previously deemed impossible.

Day in the Life of a Strength and Conditioning Coach.
My coaching days start with a 0400 start 😳. This allows me to fully wake up, have a bit of time to myself before leaving at 0500 to Sanctuary.
I generally arrive around 0535-0545 to give me time to set and ready for the first session at 0600.
I coach from 0600 until 1000, then head home to conduct online coaching and prepare programmes, creating social media etc.
Coaching starts again with an individual session, then into group coaching from 1700-2000.
These are long days for sure. But for fitness professionals it’s pretty standard. Most people want coaching early mornings or evenings.
Being a coach isn’t as glamorous as what people think but we enjoy the job and enjoying helping people.
I can hear you say “choose your job!” 😂😂
But in all honestly, fitness professionals enjoy this.
