Lisa's ability to connect with our patients is unparalleled. Some may say it's a superpower. 🦸♀️ Recently, a patient mentioned she was going to be alone on her birthday, as her son had passed away and her daughter lived out of the area. The patient mentioned to Lisa that she would not get to have cake for her birthday, and she would just have her Meals on Wheels. Lisa went out of her way to find when the patient had her Meals on Wheels delivered and before she went to work, she stopped at the ADRC Meals on Wheels center with a gift bag of birthday-themed items and a small cake to be delivered to the patient. She wanted the patient to know that even if she had to be alone on her birthday, that she was thinking of her that day. The patient recently mailed a card to the clinic, thanking her and wrote, "You blew me out of the water! I will never forget; you have a good memory: God bless you! Lisa routinely goes above and beyond, but I feel that this takes the cake!" 💙 To nominate a care team member who made an impact in your life visit our website: https://heyor.ca/Zfgj80
