Hi everyone, 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙚𝙮... A small brief about this thing - each VDI machine has a unique pairing key with its Horizon Connection Server. with that key, the agent and server communicate. Those who work with VMware Horizon solution know that sometimes there are cases where the agent's pairing key has changed on random machines for some reason, for example - after an agent upgrade process or in some other processes related to Sys Admin or user activities. When it happens, the agent will get an "Agent Unreachable" status in Horizon Admin Console. of course, there are multiple reasons for "Agent Unreachable" status, but in many cases it's because that pairing key issue. So, for that I wanted to make it a little bit easier for Horizon Admins, and recently I created a small tool called "𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙤𝙣 𝙑𝘿𝙄 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙩𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝙏𝙤𝙤𝙡" that reset the pairing key for a single or multiple VDI machines. Instead of grabbing machine name, pool name and running a manual command for each machine, just run this tool directly from your Connection Server, type a machine name or a path to a TXT file containing a list of machines along with your Horizon CS name and credentials and execute the process. 🚀 Citrix Workspace Environment Management 2404 introduces a Basic Deployment mode for the WEM agent. This feature provides a lightweight method for deploying WEM functions, such as system optimization and logon duration analysis, without the backend components. When the WEM agent is in basic mode, some optimization features are enabled by default.  - CPU Spike Protection on VDA machines is automatically turned on. This setting lowers the priority of high CPU processes to minimize the impact on the user experience. - When you log in to the agent machine, the WEM agent analyzes the logon duration and generates the report automatically.
