📢 📢📢 An Almost Overwhelming Kick Start of Building Capacity in Open Science and Responsible Research in 2025 📢 📢📢 2025 is shaping up to be my landmark year for Open Science and the responsible conduct of research, with various initiatives converging into (hopefully) impactful actions. Reflecting on my own start to the year, I can already see how collaboration and capacity-building endeavours are setting the tone for progress. My year kicked off across three cities (more or less three hotel rooms + conference rooms), inspiring people and each a hub for advancing these efforts: 1️⃣ Kiel, Germany – At the Kieler Kaufmann, we started the Horizon Europe project, #IP4OS, focusing on best practices in intellectual property management to boost Open Science (https://shorturl.at/HMXH6). 2️⃣ Amsterdam, Netherlands – At the Olympic Hotel, I met with my co-founder of #NERQ (https://lnkd.in/eumDKnAx), Mariëtte Van Den Hoven, to discuss strategies to support NERQ's aims in 2025: 👉 Exchanging good practices and formats for collaboration 👉Stimulating quality training and capacity building for Open Science stakeholders 👉Encouraging research-based innovations in education and engagement 3️⃣ Seville, Spain—Tomorrow, I’ll continue working with EOSC Association, connecting and engaging the ecosystem to the EOSC Node and strengthening the federated network to ensure seamless collaboration in #ERA moving forward (https://shorturl.at/wv09S). **Let’s Connect and Build Together** Suppose you’re passionate about advancing Capacity Building in Open Science and impactful research and want to act.
