Talking to children about their rights helps them understand their value and builds their confidence. There was once a little girl named Aaliyah. Aaliyah loves going to school and playing with her friends. One day, she learns that all children have the right to go to school, play, and be safe. "Aaliyah was a bright and happy girl who loved to learn. One day, her teacher told the class about their rights. Aaliyah was excited to learn that every child has the right to go to school, play, and feel safe.' She felt important and proud knowing these rights. She told her friends, 'We all have rights that protect us and make sure we can be happy and safe!' From that day on, Aaliyah felt more confident and knew that her feelings and needs mattered." Children can see themselves and understand their own rights better. This helps them feel valued and confident, ready to face the world. Let’s empower the next generation! Here are tips on How to Talk to Children About Their Rights: ✨️Be Honest ✨️Use Simple Language ✨️It is important to encourage them to ask questions and express their thoughts. As we work to create a place for all to play, we acknowledge that this mission comes from a great loss. Bennett's memory will live on in the smiles and laughter of everyone who visits this space. This month was founded in 1989 by a group of bereaved parents wanting to for a community of support and love for others who are grieving. Today, this powerful movement gives space for those experiencing loss to come together and share their stories and move into comfort and hope. Please take time throughout this month to step outside, enjoy a beautiful sunset, or find a fun rock. These are small moments that bring comfort to those who knew and loved Bennett.
