We’ve got… the experience. Later this year, we will celebrate our 25th anniversary alongside two of the original staff members—Angela Paul and Colin Pascoe—who are still enthusiastically and expertly engaged in every aspect of our operations. Both of these industry icons have experience that predates the launch of Monitor New Zealand, with both working together within the Answer Scan business and boasting over 30 years involvement in the New Zealand monitoring industry. Over that time these two have seen a massive amount of change, but one thing has remained unchanged—consistent customer service is key. Monitor New Zealand is the responsive and diligent business you see today due to the collective experience and knowledge of these two people. As Albert Einstein said: “Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience, and you need experience to gain wisdom”.

Catalyst for Human Evolution by Design | Empowering Sustainable Innovation & Strategic Growth | CEO & Founder, Evolve X Community| Author, The Wonder Mindset | MAD Fund Ambassador
Taking time off or away from the kids are the 2 biggest reasons people tell us they shy away from personal and professional development. When a boss sends someone to SHE EVOLVES we get thank you emails from the attendee and the boss. When she sends herself to SHE EVOLVES she thanks us (and herself). When a husband sends his wife to SHE EVOLVES we get thank you emails from the attendee and the husband. Everyone agrees, when SHE takes a few days away at SHE EVOLVES everyone benefits. As a former corporate executive I know how hard it is to step away from the hustle, as an entrepreneur I know how difficult it is to prioritise spend when there are so many competing priorities. That’s why I designed She Evolves. For Mums to hit reset. For execs to prevent burnout. For entrepreneurs to grow their network. For everyone to focus on self development and growth. I’m a woman who wears many hats 🎩 🧢 👒 so it’s designed for multifaceted ambitious women who need more. 22-25th August, JOIN ME in Byron Bay and learn strategies for success, meet amazing women who become your besties and support network, hit reset on your well-being and of course have a bit of fun 🤩 while learning from a line up of truly inspiring thought leaders. 💜

Rome wasn't built in a day, But, they were laying bricks every hour. It can take a minimum of 6 months for someone to show their true value. In a society of quick fixes, now more than ever long-term thinking and planning is needed. Before letting someone that is new and different into the clan, ask yourself these questions: - A) Are they / clear about the commercial objective they’re here to achieve? B) Are they / we clear on where we’re ok with them messing up and where we’re not? C) Are they / we clear on the metrics they’re being measured by? - It’s nearly impossible for every hire to fit into the culture you’ve built, but what got you here won't get you there, so your patience will produce evolution down the line.

Diversity is strength! ✨ A beautiful mix of cultures, nationalities, experiences, knowledge, skills, backgrounds, and upbringings came together during our department's Offsite in Estonia last week. This annual event (our department's 3rd Spring Offsite) is one of my favourites. We spend a week learning and bonding as a team. 🌼 Once again, it confirmed that this team is capable of anything! From creating Oscar-worthy short films to whipping up Michelin-star-worthy dinners, these folks are talented. 🌼 Diversity truly is a superpower. Be open-minded and embrace it. Joining a multicultural team can be challenging at first, but learning about your colleagues, their culture and working style is incredibly rewarding. 🌼 Spending time with your coworkers is truly important. I used to avoid these events because I didn't see the point, but I changed my perspective a few years ago and started participating. It truly makes a difference when you start building relationships with your colleagues. We're all human, after all, and fostering these connections in the workplace is amazing, not only for personal well-being but for more efficient collaboration as well! 🌼 We all completed the CliftonStrengths test and reviewed everyone's top five strengths. All 34 strengths were represented! 💪 Learning about each strength, its blind spots, and how it manifests in daily work was fascinating. Definitely recommend doing this with your team! Grateful to be part of this international and very multicultural team

Nurturing fresh creative talent within agencies used to be very much baked into the culture. It's how me and my creative partner cut our teeth. More recently though I've worked at agencies where only a handful of seasoned creatives got to do all the concept development and the juniors only role was to visualise their ideas. The results: 1. The senior team are overloaded and burnt out. 2. The juniors were not only starved of opportunities to practice and grow, but totally lost creative confidence. It was heartbreaking to watch and created an environment of stress, worry and low fulfilment.

Do you have something unique about you that makes you stand out from the crowd? When I first arrived in Finland, I noticed that I would attract a few stares, although not as much as here, where nobody even seems to look. However, not many were comfortable. I often felt awkward, more so than people made me feel. But, as time went on, I realized that embracing what makes me different is key to building self-confidence. I began to feel more confident because I was different. I'm always the one who stands out at events, meetings, and wherever I go because of the diversity I bring. And you know what? Being different allows you to stand out and shine. I remember someone on my LinkedIn posted a picture of an event where I was also present, and I instantly spotted myself in the crowd as the only one with head scarf. It made me realize that being unique isn't a weakness; it's my strength. Moreover, I've noticed that Finland's work environments are increasingly embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion. It's heartening to see companies here welcoming individuals from various backgrounds and cultures, making an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and respected. Just like the company I work in, Crowd For Impact, we are three different nationalities, races, and backgrounds. We embrace the diversity of perspectives and cultures, and it enriches our work environment in profound ways. So, if you ever feel like you don't quite fit in, remember that your uniqueness is what makes you special. Embrace it, and watch yourself glow. 😎
