Friendly reminder for 🏳️🌈Pride Month🏳️🌈and most other ____’Month/Week/Days: Talk (including from the C Suite) is cheap. ❌ Cheesy images and video are cheap.❌ Actually doing something real is impactful. ✅ ❤️ Some examples: ⬇️ —Community service project during work hours. — Corporate donations with input from the team. — Matching those donations —Lecture/training series for continuing ed credit. — Art/essay contest with real prizes, including family members of the employees. — Sharing new data validating progress to support the cause (e.g. on Veterans Day, revealing how many veterans were hired/promoted). —Living values all year, not just during a month. — Other ideas you all have. 😊 Bottom Line: No amount of “PRing” can cover up a lack of authentic and tangible action for important causes or commemorative months. Say it, then actually do something real.

Have you ever seen a video online that made you tear up, hit like, and desperately want to be part of the cause it championed? This was it for me. This video perfectly demonstrates the power of influencer marketing for good. Influencer marketing isn't new, and many organizations have been leveraging this strategy, but there are still areas that need refining. Imagine watching an influencer talk about a cause they're clearly not passionate about—it would leave you with a weird feeling, right? This is why storytelling is crucial in influencer marketing. The most important factor is ensuring that the influencers involved genuinely care about the cause. Authenticity is key. Influencers should have a history of supporting the cause or at least be vocally passionate about it. When an influencer has a genuine connection to the cause, their content feels more believable and relatable. Take Enioluwa, for example. This isn't his first time getting involved in social good, and watching him bring others on board is seriously inspiring. What he has done is a perfect example of how organizations can combine powerful storytelling with the right influencers to create campaigns that make a real impact on the cause itself. When it comes to social impact, the spotlight should be less on the organization and more on the cause. I’d love to see more organizations pushing real causes through well-told stories and with influencers who truly align with their mission. Have you seen a successful collaboration between brands and influencers for social good? Let's talk about it in the comments! #socialgood #socialimpact #causemarketing #corporatesocialresponsibility (#CSR) #nonprofitmarketing

🌟 Embracing Growth Through Mistakes | #UnlockDrama #GrowthMindset At Unlock Drama, we believe in the transformative power of accepting and learning from our mistakes. This philosophy is deeply embedded in every project we undertake because we recognise that real growth happens outside the comfort zone. 🚀 Why Celebrate Mistakes? Mistakes are not just missteps; they are stepping stones to greater understanding and personal development. They provide invaluable lessons that can’t be learned through success alone. By embracing errors, we foster resilience and courage among our participants—essential qualities for anyone navigating the challenges of life, whether inside or outside the justice system. 🎭 In Our Workshops… We create a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to try new things without fear of failure. Our drama projects are designed to show that it’s okay to get things wrong because each error contributes to our collective learning and growth. This approach not only enhances personal development but also builds a community where every member feels valued and understood. 🔗 Impact Beyond the Stage The lessons learned through our programs resonate far beyond the initial engagement. Participants leave with increased self-esteem and the confidence to face new challenges. They learn that their value is not diminished by their mistakes but is actually enhanced by their willingness to engage with them. 💬 Participant Insight: “I used to fear making mistakes because I thought it meant I was failing. Through Unlock Drama, I’ve learned that every mistake is a chance to learn and grow stronger. Now, I see challenges as opportunities, not obstacles.” – Workshop Participant Join us in changing the narrative around mistakes. Let’s celebrate the growth that comes from them and create a culture where continuous improvement is the goal. #EducationThroughTheatre #LifeSkills 📩 Interested in learning more about our initiatives or want to join our mission?
