Morning, all! A friendly PSA from your favorite Disney travel specialist. Walt Disney World released two vacation promos this morning: 🔵 A room discount for “most nights” July 8th - October 3rd. 🔵 A Disney Visa cardholder Free Dining promo for “most nights” July 1-31, September 1-7, and December 9-21. I’ve already grabbed my stacks of folders and taken a look at my existing travelers reservations to see if I could apply the promos. If you got an email from me, I applied it. If you didn’t get an email from me, one of these scenarios occurred. ✔️ You had a promo on your reservation already that was a better deal than what they’re offering ✔️ Your resort or room type wasn’t included in the promo ✔️ Applying the promo INCREASED the price of your vacation package. This was the case a record 6 reservations this morning. It’s not uncommon for Disney to do a price bump before they release a promo…so I’m not about to apply a discount so you can pay $300+ more for your vacation package. 😂 So if you haven’t booked your vacation yet for this summer, now is a good time to do it! Holler with questions!

3 reasons why splitting your time between Disney and Universal is easier than you think. #1 Your transportation is easily arranged for a seamless experience from the airport to Disney to Universal and back to the airport. I'll provide you with all the options; private transfer, Uber and Universal even offers a transfer that can be added to your package. Then, I can help you can choose which one works best for your trip. #2 On the day of your transfer, store your luggage with bell services at your hotel while in the parks. Then schedule your pick-up time for when you'll be ready to go from one to the other. You could even head right over and enjoy your new resorts pool while you wait for your room to be ready! #3 When trying to visit both Disney and Universal in 1 trip it is better to stay at a hotel at both in order to enjoy the perks offered to on-site guests. Early park admission and my favorite perk; Unlimited Express Pass if you stay at a Universal Premier resort hotel. Plus one day just isn't enough time and makes for a VERY long day. And the best part, I book both Universal and Disney so you can message me and I’ll make it easy for you. #familyvacation #takeavacation #traveladvisor #lifeishort #travel #Magicaltripswithmelj #patraveladventures #collegevillepa #collegevilletraveladvisor #disneyresorts #disneyvacation #waltdisneyworld #universalorlandoresort #univeralstudios #islandsofadventure See insights and ads Boost post All reactions: 1 1

It's Travel Tuesday!! Todays focus is on Disney! Whether you are Hard core #DisneyWorld , #Disneyland Or #ANYTHINGDISNEY I have a few recommendations for ya! 1) Buy the #DisneyPhotoPass I learned a hard lesson when I was an aspiring amateur photographer... Stuff happens.. We returned home from Disney World and all those great shots were lost or messed up. Sure we have Cell phone Cameras now But Why not live in the moment! Create the memories while being present, let the experts capture those memories for you! Bonus: You get quality photos and EVERYONE is in them! 2) Pack snacks! The Disney experience comes at a premium and as someone who tends to get "Hangry" it's a great save for all involved to have fruit cups, protein bars, or mixed nuts/ dried fruit. Bonus: Don't forget a reusable water bottle-most quick service allow for free refills. 3) Make dining reservations as soon as possible! There are wonderful themed food options in every park. Pick a few you like and lock those experiences in! You don't have to reserve EVERY meal but definitely pick a few ! It helps with planning your day to which parks, what rides etc. 4) Stay on site. Don't get me wrong. The one time we had a group of 10 we rented a house near by which was fun for our 10 days in Orlando BUT if your goal is all things Disney-stay at one of the resorts, Free transportation, early access to dining reservations, early theme park entry and location are fantastic AND there is a resort for every budget need! BONUS: Those staying in Disney World Resorts in 2025 can enjoy FREE WATER PARK PASSES on arrival day! 5) Partner with an **Authorized Disney Vacation Planner** Before joining PS Family Vacations as an agent, I used them for the Disney vacays I didn't have time to plan myself. Trust me, Disney Corporation is no joke! They require us to recertify every year-and with the constant additions/new offers-I take courses constantly to stay up to date! We get insight on best times to visit, package deals and upgrades available. We can create your itinerary, reserve your strollers, make your reservations-All The Things. All you have to do is pack...well and not miss your flight ✈ 😂 ! October I am going for an agent training trip and can't wait to share the experience with y'all. Which do you like best? DisneyLand or Disney World? What's your favorite park??

Head on a Disney Cruise Line Cruise? 🚢 To make sure you have the best experience, here are three common mistakes to avoid so you can cruise like a pro: 1️⃣ Arriving Too Late for Embarkation: Don't wait to board! As soon as you step on the ship, you'll have immediate access to all the food, drinks, and activities. 🍹🍔 Why miss out on poolside fun or a delicious buffet spread? Arriving early gives you extra time to enjoy everything you’ve paid for. It's vacation—so maximize it from the get-go! 🙌 2️⃣ Not Packing Essentials in Your Carry-On: When you first board, your checked luggage usually will not arrive in your stateroom till later in the day, so you may not have access to some essentials. Make sure to pack a carry-on with must-haves like swimsuits, sunscreen, medication, and any other personal items. That way, you can jump into poolside fun or a quick snack without waiting for your bags! 👙 3️⃣ Missing Out on Kid-Free Adult Spaces Disney is magical for everyone, including adults! 🌟 While the kids are living their best lives in the amazing kids’ clubs, take some "you-time" to enjoy the adult-only areas. 🍷 From adult-only lounges, dinners, or a relaxing spa, don't forget that Disney Cruise Line offers so much for grown-ups, too! ✨ Bonus Pro Tip: Make the Most of the Navigator App! Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you sail. 📱 It’s your personal guide to everything happening on the ship—from showtimes to dining options. The app even lets you chat with your group and view daily schedules, so you’ll never miss a thing! Have you been on a Disney Cruise? Do you have any first-timer tips to share? ⬇️ #disneycruises #disneycruiseship #disneycruiselines #disneycruiselife #disneyvacationplanner #disneyvacations #disneyvacationplanning #vacationplanner #magicalvacationplanner #personaltravelagent #disneytravelagents #familyvacationideas

When is the best time to visit Walt Disney World® Resort? This is one of the most common questions I get as a Disney Travel Expert. The truth is, there's no single "perfect" time - it depends on your priorities! 🍁 Want lower crowds and cooler weather? Late fall like mid-November is your sweet spot after the initial holiday rush. Park attendance drops and you'll enjoy milder temps with gorgeous foliage too. ☀️ Looking for great weather, longer park hours, and special events? Spring is fantastic from mid-March through May. Crowd levels are moderate, deals abound, and EPCOT® International Flower & Garden Festival is delightful. 💦 Hoping for manageable crowds plus the lowest rates? Pick late summer/early fall when kids head back to school. Take advantage of free Disney Dining promos and more park refurb closures. 🎄 Craving holiday magic and cooler weather? Book early December to see the parks decked out in festive cheer with lower crowds and deals before the winter break rush. There's no bad time - just times better aligned to your preferences! As your travel agent, I'll advise you when it makes the most sense based on rates, crowds, weather, events, and more. Let me know if you need any other tips covered for the best times or reasons to visit Walt Disney World® Resort! #disneytravelagent #travelagent #visitdisney #waltdisneyworldresort #godisney #visitflorida #planyourtrip #disneyexpert #disneytravelexpert #waltdisneyworldtravelplanner

Planning a Walt Disney World trip can be a detailed process, and the time it takes depends on how in-depth you go! On average, here’s how long it can take: 🔍 Research phase: This can take anywhere from 10 to 20 hours, spread over weeks (or months), as you explore accommodation, tickets, and compare pricing across websites. ✈️ Actual booking: Once research is done, booking flights, accommodation, park tickets, and dining reservations may take another 2 to 5 hours. 🎢 Fine-tuning the itinerary: Exploring dining options, booking and planning extras, deciphering Lightning Lane Multi-Pass, scheduling your park days, could take an additional 10 to 15 hours. That means you could easily spend 20 to 40 hours just planning your Walt Disney World holiday if you want to make the most of every magical experience! ✨ Feeling overwhelmed? 😅 That’s where I come in! I can help you dramatically cut down on that time by doing all the research and planning for you. 🚢 Just booked your Disney Cruise Line Cruise? Between booking and boarding, there are a few steps to build excitement and enhance your cruise experience. Here are 5 things to do next: 1️⃣ Join the Facebook Group for Your Cruise: Connect with fellow cruisers by joining the Facebook group for your specific ship and cruise dates. This is a great way to meet other families, join group events like mixology classes, or sign up for a fun fish extender group! 2️⃣ Download the DCL Navigator App: This free app is a must for onboard communication and planning! It includes your personal itinerary, dining details, and a complete guide to the ship’s activities. Download it at home to avoid onboard Wi-Fi charges. 3️⃣ Check-in Online ASAP: As soon as your cruise is paid in full and your online check-in window opens (typically 30 days before sailing), complete your check-in. This ensures the best port arrival times and peace of mind with all your travel documents sorted. 4️⃣ Book Character Meals in Advance: Once your cruise is paid in full and the booking window opens (75 days prior for first-timers), reserve special character experiences like the Royal Gathering, Frozen Meet and Greet, and more! These magical moments are a must. 5️⃣ Sign Up for Kids Clubs / Nursery: Pre-register your child for Disney’s Kids Clubs or the “It’s a Small World” nursery. This ensures a smooth check-in on embarkation day and gives your kiddos a chance to explore and get excited about the fun ahead! Disney trips are so complicated now that you need a class to plan one So, this stuck out to me as this complaint about Disney’s complications are crossing into the mainstream. Is it a little over the top? Maybe. But the average guest is starting to feel this way when it comes to the complications of planning a Disney trip, even Disney has admitted this. And ultimately, perception is reality. Even if it isn’t so complicated that you need a class for it… if potential guests are feeling that way, you’ve lost the battle. On a side tangent however, what has been frustrating to me, is not only the complications, but for Walt Disney World, Disney has trained us to book a year out, book dining 180 days, etc. But if we head to California, dining is what? 30 days out? And yet their other resorts don’t even have dates, ticket availability or hotel bookings more than 2/3 months out. If you try to look beyond that the site starts glitching (I know – I’ve been trying). So, it is not only complicated, but doesn’t even always work. The differences in booking across different parks & resorts properties (at least the 4 Disney is the majority owner/operator) shouldn’t be this drastic. So complications extend elsewhere as well, just in different ways. https://lnkd.in/e8NuTCkZ #letsmakeplans #themeparks #themedentertainment #disneyparks
