Rendering could be done in many ways. 2 of the ways are #SSR and #CSR. SSR renders the whole page, including all the data, at the server side. In #Next 14, this is done by using 'getServerSideProps' method. SSR is useful in fast initial loading, less burden on client and fruitful in SEO. In CSR, Server only sends the basic structure of HTML page and its the responsibility of client to render the whole page using JS. CSR is useful in making the HTML page more interactive, like showing loading while data is being fetched. Let's dive into the video to see the implementation of both in Next 14 using Pages router.

What Happens When We Type a URL and Hit Enter 1. Every web server has an IP address. The browser checks if it already knows the IP address of the domain from cache. 2. If not the DNS system converts the URL you typed into an IP address. 3. The browser sends an HTTP request to the server, asking for the content of the web page. The server processes the request, sends an HTTP response back to the browser with status codes like 200 (OK) or 404 (Not Found). 4. As the browser renders the page, it may make additional requests for other resources like images, videos, fonts etc. 5. The fully loaded page is displayed and interactive elements become usable. This process happens very quickly, making the page appear within seconds.
