Energous Reference Designs Bring Sensor Tags to Wireless Power Systems https://lnkd.in/eQqXNjFz The “over-the-air” power company is expanding its offerings to provide the necessary support for custom sensors and tags that could be powered and interrogated by the 2W PowerBridge. The goal is to expand sensor networks for companies such as retailers and food brands to areas where power may not be available – thereby creating a wider IoT view into goods and assets. #RFID #IoT #RFIDJournalLIVE #RFIDJournalLIVE25 #RAINRFID #DigitalProductPassport #DPP  #RealTimeData #Sustainability #RFIDTags #SupplyChain #SupplyChainManagement #Merchandising #RetailTech #RetailTechnology #RetailInnovation #RetailSolutions #ApparelIndustry #SpeedtoShelf #RFIDSolutions #Logistics #LocationIntelligence #DigitalSupplyChain #AssetTracking #RFIDinManufacturing #IoTinManufacturing #FoodChain #IIoT #IndustrialInternetofThings #AI #BLE #Bluetooth #DigitalTwins #ML #RAINRFID #WarehouseAutomation #WarehouseManagement #InventoryManagement #NFC

Why isn’t there a move of consolidation in the industry? Many players in the field such as Energous, Wiliot, Thinaer and many others are all complimentary in their offerings and yet the only one that trades on the NASDAQ is Energous. None of them is proving large enough to dominate however together they can offer a transformative offering that is hard to compete with. Energous Enterprise Value is exceedingly cheap and in danger of getting delisted. Why isn’t Energous absorbing many of the other partners and together offer a larger outfit trading under $WATT. Energous has a shelf of $80 million shares waiting to be deployed. Launching a new larger Energous with an end to end offering spanning tags, bridges and software is a no brainer. No? That would resolve the delisting threat and offer instant growth to other players as well as immediate access to retail investors.
