Was moving to Norway a good thing? Absolutely! :) Together with my family, we made the bold decision to move to Norway and join team EVOY. It was a choice that could have easily gone the other way—it was daunting, stepping into the unknown, leaving behind our friends and family, and disconnecting from everything familiar. But the thought of regretting not taking this chance was even scarier. So, we took the leap. In our first five months living in Florø, Norway, we've immersed ourselves in a new culture, made many new friends, explored breathtaking nature, started learning a new language, and, most importantly, created timeless memories. This personal journey mirrors the path EVOY is taking. Starting from scratch, daring to develop a product for an unknown market, and creating irresistible boating solutions. Just as the automotive industry took nearly two decades to pave the way for electric cars, the marine industry is now on the verge of electrification, and EVOY is leading the charge. And honestly, I would highly recommend it, and I believe anyone can benefit from embracing such an adventure at least once in their life. Disconnect and explore the world. Making memories and products that can change the world!

🚆🌍 **The Future of Travel: A Transatlantic Tunnel?** 🌍🚆 Imagine cutting travel time between New York City and London to less than an hour! A groundbreaking proposal for a transatlantic tunnel aims to do just that, with trains zooming at over 3,000 miles per hour. This ambitious project, if realized, could revolutionize global travel as we know it. The proposed tunnel would stretch an astonishing 3,400 miles and utilize vacuum technology to eliminate air resistance—making what once seemed like science fiction, a potential reality. Different construction methods have been discussed, from completely underwater tunnels to floating segments suspended above the ocean, showcasing the innovation and creativity behind the proposal. However, with groundbreaking ideas come significant challenges. Early estimates of around $19.8 trillion for the project's cost raise eyebrows, but visionaries like Elon Musk suggest it could be built at just a fraction of that expense—approximately $20 billion. The financial feasibility isn’t the only hurdle; the project would need to withstand tremendous underwater pressures and address ecological and safety concerns. Historically, the idea of a transatlantic tunnel isn’t new. It's been a topic of interest for decades, gaining traction with recent advancements in vacuum tube technology and hyperloop concepts. Despite being highly speculative, the excitement around this proposal highlights our endless desire to connect cultures and communities more efficiently. While such a tunnel may still be years, if not decades, away from becoming a reality, its potential to reshape travel is nothing short of fascinating. 🚶♂️🏃♀️🚴♀️ Throughout May, we participated in an exciting challenge to coincide with National Walking Month. 🌍☁️ Our 'Move 4 Earth' virtual challenge aimed for us to walk, run, cycle, or move a collective total of 6,595 miles or 16,487,500 steps, to travel through a selection of European countries known for having some of the best air quality in Europe. 🌍👟We partnered with EarthRuns | Active For Earth, to plant up to 750 trees to celebrate the milestones our staff achieved during this challenge. Not only contributing to our team's physical and mental health but also enhancing air quality and fostering environmental sustainability by planting real trees in areas that need increased biodiversity. 👏 As May came to an end, we were delighted with everyone's enthusiasm and involvement. The goal was to set a difficult yet achievable target that would encourage us all to move more while contributing positively by planting trees. 🤔 However, our marketing lead Lucy Vizor may have been a bit ambitious with the set goal... 💪 Despite the incredible participation and effort from the team, we did not reach our initial target. However, our ‘Halfway Heroes’ made it all the way to Hungary, covering over halfway through this ambitious challenge with a collective distance of 3,077.84 miles or 5,288,306 steps. The true success of this challenge lies in the enthusiasm, commitment, and teamwork we've all shown. Plus, we discovered some fantastic new walking routes during what has been a very busy May for us all! 🥳 To end on a high note we did however do some clever rerouting and took a detour, which brought us to Tbilisi, Georgia, which is the furthest city involved in our Net 4 Cities project. So, we ended on a high note! 🌍🌱Thank you to the whole team who got involved. We are very proud of all the effort and were thrilled to present the team with some plantable wildflower seed medals courtesy of EarthRuns. 📰 Read the full blog post here: https://bit.ly/3Y8kxY6 #EarthSense #NationalWalkingMonth #AirQuality #Charity #Sustainability #Trees #EarthRuns
