We had a chat with Julian Bassey and George Uche Anijah-Obi who are both captains of the ship at Crimson Power Ltd
with Jullian as CEO, and George as COO.
They shared with us their perspectives on some topical issues in the solar energy industry especially relating to hiring the right talents.
Here is a snippet of the video where George spoke about the challenges Crimson Power had faced in hiring solar talents for its team.

Solar is. Relatively new. It's not new actually, but in terms of mass adoption is somewhat new. It's still, should I say, novel. OK. Yes, I agree you have a lot of talents out there in traditional electrical engineering, but when it comes to a renewable energy and power, it's still a bit novel. So there is some learning quote there and find it. Staffs that have that experience normally leave in the traditional electrical sector or power sector. You have lots of people with experience, so you have a lot of. Uh, people in the talent pool, right? You can easily pick from what for renewable there are not so many, you know. So that's been challenging. You know, every company would like to have. Uh. Candidates that they just hit the ground running and you know, with little or no supervision if you say certain things stems, you know, phrases the understand exactly what you're talking about, as is the case. Mostly in the traditional electrical field power sector, both for solar. It's not the case we will get there as more people get trained in this sector. But those were the challenges we faced finding people who. Can hit the ground running. It was important for me as a community.
