So a pet project of mine is coming to fruition, and I am very excited to talk about it finally: Building Science Academy is coming soon! After twenty (long) years of walking buildings and producing energy audits for every kind of customer you can think of, I have noticed some trends and picked up more than a few sneaky tricks. Over the next year SRG will be rolling out a series of online and in-person training sessions for energy professionals of all stripes that will leverage every mistake I have made along the way. It's a depressing number of mistakes, but at least you will get to benefit from my embarassments! If you are ready to accelerate your career in the energy efficiency field, these trainings are tailor-made for you. They are chock full of tips, tactics, insights, and insider knowledge. Topics will range from fundamental building science like thermodymics and electrical, all the way to specific devices and how to evaluate them for energy efficiency. Each training will lean heavily into best-practices and actual marketplace impact. No fluff, no filler.
