We are thrilled to share that our strategic partner, DG Fuels, has entered into a landmark partnership with Airbus to scale sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) across the United States. Airbus, a global leader in aerospace, recognizes the immense potential of DG Fuels' unique production system which harnesses cellulosic waste products, like wood waste from logging, alongside #renewable energies. The outcome? A projected saving of approximately 1.5 million tons of CO2 emissions yearly from 2026, supporting the global shift towards #decarbonization. This alliance aligns perfectly with the U.S. government's #SAF Grand Challenge, focusing on ramping up domestic SAF production while significantly reducing lifecycle #GHGemissions. With an ambitious goal to produce 35 billion US gallons of SAF by 2050, collaborations like this are fundamental steps forward. Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury's words resonate with our vision: "Sustainable aviation fuels play a crucial role in enabling aviation's decarbonisation roadmap." Our #EVx long-duration gravity energy storage system remains at the heart of this mission, supporting the production of green hydrogen and ensuring a #CleanEnergyFuture. As one of the largest long duration energy storage projects announced to date serving a critical and unmet market need for SAF to serve the airline industry.
