Collaborative efforts such as this strive to recruit military candidates in various fields including airlines, IT, healthcare, leadership, and more, showcasing the power of collective action to achieve positive outcomes for the military community. Sharing for reach! No matter how far out your are it is never too early to start *~NETWORKING~* I feel your pain if you’re an introvert. 1. Have your spouse, friend, or anyone that makes you comfortable go with you! It will calm you down and you’ll have a better energy. 2. Research the presenters before you go to see if any of their openings line up with your career intentions. 3. Have a copy of a generic resume AND a tailored resume if you liked one of their postings. 4. P.M.A. Positive Mental Attitude! Bring it all! 5. Show up early and be ready to talk. A lot. A LOT a lot. Keep in mind that whoever you’re talking to is talking to way more people than you are, and usually about the same stuff. They’re going to be more tired the longer the day goes on.
