We are more than happy to expand our cooperation from six to seven ports with an ambitious and forward-thinking actor, who has committed itself to accelerating the green transition.  🌍This is a significant milestone in our journey towards a sustainable future with strengthened supply chains across all of Europe - from ports to service companies. As of now, we can share port capacity, strengthen flexibility across supply chains, and reduce the risk of space shortage – all to the benefit of securing the supply of green energy for all Europeans. 🌬️With this expansion, we are setting a new standard for collaboration in the renewable energy sector, securing supply chains and paving the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future for all of Europe.

Introducing the Corigliano project—a colossal floating solar and wind farm collaboration between Dutch-Norwegian offshore solar company SolarDuck, Italian investment fund Arrow Capital, and Italian developer New Developments. Did you know that The Trade Council of Denmark in North America - Energy and Environment helped facilitate 26 delegations in 2023? By bringing North American stakeholders to and from Denmark, exchanging knowledge, and promoting Danish best practices, our advisors help foster new and strong partnerships across the Atlantic.   One of the companies who participated in several delegations last year was COWI.   In March 2023, COWI participated in a delegation alongside 30 other Danish energy companies focusing on exploring market opportunities and developments within two of the fastest-growing energy industries in the U.S. – wind and Power-to-X.   According to Kasper Fröhlich from COWI, the relationships formed during the delegation have been crucial for their launch in the U.S. and establishing partnerships.   "On the delegation, a strong network was facilitated, which provided a solid foundation for collaboration and created value for us as companies and participants. ▶️DIALOGUES | In this Dialogues session "The Green Impact of Hydrogen: Building a Sustainable Future Through Innovation" on 26 September, we were joined by five esteemed industry leaders in the hydrogen fuel cell space, who shared technological innovations that have transformed the renewable energy industry. The panel featured Mr Wang Gucheng, Head of Clean Energy Research Centre at Temasek Polytechnic, Mr Noel Chin, President of Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association of Singapore (HFCAS), Ms Tulika Raj, CEO and Co-Founder of SunGreenH2, Mr Jogjaman Jap, CEO of Spectronik, and Dr Lip Khoon Kho, Head of Corporate Development & Economy Division at the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Sarawak. While the technology is not novel, using hydrogen as a clean and renewable energy source for mass industrial and commercial consumption has only just gained traction within the last half decade. For hydrogen to be considered a carbon-neutral energy source, it has to be made using renewable energy sources — and not through fossil fuels. Big News from Lithuania! 🇱🇹 The first turbine is up at Green Genius wind project in Jurbarkas, with more on the way. This 63MW stage is just the start, set to power up in 2025. To bring this vision to life, over 110 trucks and heavy vehicles have been mobilized to transport the turbines and other crucial components for the project. Each turbine, comprised of 13 main parts, will soar to a towering height of 240 meters once installed, symbolizing the remarkable progress we're making in harnessing the power of wind. But we're not stopping there. The second stage of an additional 17MW is on the horizon, with construction set to begin soon. Once completed, the entire Jurbarkas wind park, with a capacity of 80MW, will account for approximately 8% of Lithuania's current wind portfolio, paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future.With over €100m invested, it's a major step towards a greener future, supplying green electricity to local businesses. 💨🌍 #RenewableEnergy

Since 2011 we have invested 64 million euros in green management. Among the most significant interventions are: ▶︎ Two cogeneration systems, installed at the Fiorano site and one at the Mordano site. ▶︎ Installation of 42,000 m2 of photovoltaic panels at the headquarters in Fiorano Modenese and 22,000m2 in Mordano. ▶︎ Both Italian factories have been equipped with rainwater collection tanks with which the company was able to recover 7 million litres of water in 2023 alone. ▶︎ Inclusion of two 100% electric trucks powered by self-generated energy from photovoltaic panels and cogeneration plants. ▶︎ For better energy management, in 2022 the company installed additional energy-efficient lighting fixtures at all Italian locations.
