🌆Reflections from New York: PART ONE I arrived in New York on Friday evening for an exciting milestone—my book 📕 is being translated into English, and to celebrate, we're recording a podcast with some of the most inspiring women in the U.S., discussing a topic close to my heart: women's health. This trip has already been filled with powerful insights, and I wanted to share a few key moments that have impacted me during the weekend I was here with Jan Deruyck 1️⃣ Embrace Positivity and Authenticity On my first evening, I met Christophe de Pous truly inspiring individual with an incredible career and a humble, kind, and authentic personality. His energy was contagious. Meeting him reminded me to stay positive, live in the moment, and embrace authenticity. These qualities often open doors to unexpected opportunities. 2️⃣ Failure Isn’t the End—It's Growth The next day, I met Antony Demekhin also a founder, who helped shift my perspective on failure. I confessed my fear of failing in business, thinking it would be catastrophic. Antony reminded me that the personal growth, experiences, and resilience gained while building a company are invaluable. Whether success or failure, the journey itself is worth it. It helped me realize that passion and dedication will keep us moving forward—and that even setbacks are stepping stones. 3️⃣ We All Face Similar Challenges Dinner with podcast guests Éva Goicochea and Neada Deters and their partners was a cozy, candid reminder that no matter where we are in our journey, many of us share the same struggles. We laughed about the difficulties of hiring the right people—a challenge for any startup. Building a strong team takes time (and many lessons!), but I’m so grateful for the fantastic team we have now. We even joked about Glassdoor reviews and how, in startups, people are much more visible than in larger organizations. We toyed with the idea of creating a platform for founders to share experiences about past hires—not to criticize, but to help others make informed decisions. Ultimately, I learned how critical it is to trust the hiring process and avoid skipping key steps like reference checks, as they often save us from missteps. This trip has already taught me so much, and I can’t wait to continue learning and connecting over the next few days. Grateful for these moments of growth, and excited to keep pushing forward!

I've had the incredible opportunity to dive deep into conversations with two remarkable individuals, 🦜 Laila Jessica Braga Martins and Max Appenroth, whose journeys and insights have inspired me and resonated deeply with my own mission. With Laila, our dialogue spanned the realms of sustainability and regeneration, reinforcing the importance of technological harmony with nature and the power of diverse voices in driving meaningful environmental change. Our conversation was a vivid reminder of how interconnected we all are – with each other and with the planet, we call home. Switching gears, my interview with Max brought to light the transformative power of diversity in the business world. As the co-founder of Diversity Factory, Max's journey from a solo entrepreneur to leading a venture aimed at democratizing the workplace through diversity and inclusion showcased the incredible impact of collective effort and shared vision. Both discussions have been eye-openers, underscoring the critical roles of sustainability and diversity in shaping a better future. They've reminded me of the significance of staying true to one's values, the strength found in community, and the endless possibilities that arise when we embrace innovation with a purpose. 🌱🤝 Technology, sustainability, and diversity are not just buzzwords but pathways to a more inclusive and thriving planet. As I reflect on these conversations, I'm more motivated than ever to continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible, fostering environments where everyone has the opportunity to shine. Here is a short clip from these inspiring interviews – a glimpse into the journeys of two incredible individuals who are making a real difference. I will release both full interviews soon. Thank you, Laila and Max, for doing this with me. And thank you Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences and Prof. Dr. Maximilian Lude for pushing me into things I never did before. It was a pleasure!
