Start by selecting a job or task to analyze. Focus on jobs that have a high potential for accidents or that have previously experienced safety incidents. 2. Break down the job or task into individual steps. Ensure that each step is specific and concise. 3. Identify the potential hazards associated with each step. Consider physical hazards (e.g., sharp objects, moving machinery), chemical hazards (e.g., exposure to harmful substances), ergonomic hazards (e.g., repetitive motions), and any other relevant risks. 4. Evaluate the severity and likelihood of each hazard. Determine the potential consequences if a hazard occurs and the probability of it happening. 5.
