"Sales is one of most high pressure job" This is what I have heard over and over last 30+ years. I have heard this from salespeople as well as business leaders and sales trainers.
What do sales people do? I will put it in simple words - The job of a sales rep is to converge what is inside (the sales organisation) with what is outside (the customers) while navigating competition and the market environment.
If there is something a sales rep is not able to manage whether inside or outside, it just means that either it is new situation for the company or for the sales rep. In either case, he needs support from the sales manager. It is the duty of sales manager to enable the sales rep to solve for the issue.
What I am trying to say is that the selling can be stress free and fun, if the sales rep is able to transfer the pressure either to the customer or his superiors. It is important to note that sales reps do not have to make any decisions by themselves, hence no pressure. His job is to make the twain meet (the outside and the inside).
Selling is fun, and stress free always.

New world record in swimming for the 100m freestyle. Two simple analyses: 1 elbows are seen very low during the recovery phase of the stroke (perhaps to increase the speed of recovery?) 2 a slightly less pronounced shoulder roll indicates that the body remains quite frontal to the advancement, therefore with greater resistance. What do you think?
