Hi Amazon 👋 I recently came across a button on your site that doesn't seem to do anything. As a user, it’s a bit confusing and I believe it could be removed for a smoother experience. Let’s keep things simple and intuitive. #UX #Amazon #UserExperience #ProductFeedback #UI #ProductDesign

'Give me a little time to think!' Even though I hate this line, I do find myself saying it in my head whenever some business adds a countdown to my cart. Especially, amazon. Yes, I would like to buy the object I've added to my cart but don't force me to buy it within 14 minutes. These panic-induced timers used by e-commerce websites are taken in a positive light if the sale has been going on for days. But the 15-minute timers, trying to create urgency, often enable people to make the wrong decision. Share your 2 cents. #heuristicseries #ecommerce #ux #uxdesign #productpsychology #uxui

Whenever I see a UI comparison post asking which one is better, I back out from that conversation. Here’s WHY It lacks CONTEXT For instance, when you're designing a Pizza ordering app for individual consumers, a Stepper Input is a better UI where you click to increase "+" or decrease "-" the number of items. It prevents invalid inputs. But let's say you're designing for corporate where you are expecting large orders of Pizza, then a Manual Entry Field will be a better UI where you can type the quantity manually. If you use Stepper here, it will be a frustrating experience for the user to click the "+" button 50 times for 50 Pizzas. It's not about what is better than the other. Both of these UIs have their own usability advantages in different contexts. So if you randomly ask which UI is better without giving any context, we can't compare like that. Also, DON’T stop posting these. Add what is required for decision making 🙂↔️ #ux #uxdesign #uicomparison #uxknowledge #uxlearning #uidesign

As a student studying UX design, I recently had the opportunity to conduct a heuristic evaluation of Amazon's website as part of my coursework. It was an eye-opening experience to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and analyze the user interface from a usability standpoint Throughout the evaluation, I identified several areas where Amazon's website could be enhanced to improve user experience. Conducting this evaluation has deepened my understanding of UX design principles and provided valuable real-world insights. I'm eager to continue learning about heuristic evaluations and UX design as I progress in my studies. If you have any advice or experiences related to heuristic evaluations or UX design in general, I would love to connect and discuss. #UXdesign #HeuristicEvaluation #UserExperience #Amazon #UIDesign #HeuristicEvaluation #UDesign #UserExperience #figma #productdesign #userexperiencedesign #website #uxigers #uxresearch #uxuidesign #appdesigner #creative #uidesignpatterns #graphicdesigner #digitaldesign #illustration #inspiration #branding #interfacedesign #interactiondesign #mobile #amzonheuristic

👿 The devil is in the details! 📱 In this post, I want to highlight how a seemingly small component can significantly affect user experience. Let's consider a radio button that can inadvertently ruin the user journey, leading to potential order cancellations and dissatisfied customers. 🍔 Imagine this flow: At the weekend my friend and I were going to order our dinner from Just Eat Takeaway. I selected my meal and proceeded to the next step, where I wanted to order two of the same meal. So far, so good. Then, I decided to add a Coke for myself and a Fanta for my friend. But guess what? I couldn't order different drinks because of the single-choice limitation imposed by the radio button. This issue could arise with any side dish or sauce you want to add. ❓Such minor design component can lead to significant frustrations, causing users to abandon their orders. I was starving and didn't cancel my order but I am curious what other users will do? #UserExperience #UXDesign #CustomerSatisfaction #Ecommerce #UI #UX

Hello connections 👋 Optimized the Amazon product page experience Have you ever spent your valuable time navigating an Amazon product page, feeling overwhelmed by information and struggling to pinpoint the crucial details you need to make a decision? I identified an opportunity to streamline the product page experience. Here's my design process: Through analysis, I pinpointed the key issue: excessive scrolling and information overload, hindering users from grasping product details at a glance. I adopted a user-centric approach, prioritizing crucial information and crafting a wireframe that showcased the essentials upfront. Building on the wireframe, I developed a visually appealing and user-friendly high-fidelity design, condensing a lengthy page into a concise and informative format. This redesign empowers users to make informed purchase decisions with greater ease. Do share your thoughts on this! #UX #designthinking #UI #figma
