Turning Crisis into Triumph: The Higa Boarding School Success Story In a critical juncture, Higa Boarding School faced closure due to severe budget constraints, risking students' education. Recognizing the urgency, a global community of dedicated individuals, including myself, launched an emergency fundraising campaign. The collective effort raised an impressive 4 million ETB within a month, providing a crucial lifeline to keep the school operational. The impact was profound as 96.6% of students passed the 12th-grade national exams, a stark contrast to the national average of 5.4%. This success showcases the power of community solidarity and collective action in preserving educational opportunities. The Higa Boarding School's inspiring turnaround is a testament to resilience and community support. It highlights the transformative impact of dedicated individuals uniting for a common purpose. The school's success underscores the importance of visionary leadership and community solidarity in achieving educational excellence and securing a brighter future for students.
