A little less Katrina and the Waves and a little more Lana Del Rey.. Teaching sometimes forces you to learn new tools. In assisting my students create design analysis tools for their projects, I figured why not look at one of our projects. This is an analysis of a roof deck at one of our projects under construction calculating how many hours the deck and walls receive direct sunlight 😎 Red equal more hours hours, blue less. As you can see if we add a shading device we might be able to keep it cooler during the summer months.
