On June 26, 2024, at the #GTI Summit in Shanghai, Mr. He Biao, General Manager of #ChinaMobile, delivered a speech committing to leveraging international platforms like GTI to vigorously promote the innovative integration of 5G-A×AI and advance global mobile information industry expansion and value creation. As one of the initiators of GTI, China Mobile uses technological innovation to forge new productive forces, drive the construction of a modern industrial system, and robustly support the digital transformation of the economy and society. Mr. He outlined three key focuses: strengthening new information infrastructure, building an extensive new information service system, and fostering core technological innovation. Mr. He emphasized that the current era sees comprehensive and deep integration of next-generation information technologies with the economy and society. Looking forward, China Mobile will collaborate with global industry partners, relying on platforms like GTI, and adhering to the principles of innovation, cooperation, openness, and mutual benefit. They will fully promote the innovative integration of 5G-A×AI, jointly advance the expansion of global mobile information industry services, and create value. Their strategy includes advancing technology standards evolution to unleash the innovation dividends of 5G-A×AI, deepening the integration of digital and real economies to fully unleash the application value of 5G-A×AI, and sharing high-quality resource elements to continuously build a prosperous ecosystem for 5G-A×AI.

Hittech Group is on a trade mission this week in Singapore and Malaysia. The Netherlands and Southeast Asia have a strong history of high-tech cooperation. Malaysia is a growing market with a strong foothold in the Semiconductor industry, which accounts for 7% of the global semiconductor trade.   Part of this mission is Hittech Group’s attendance at the Netherlands Pavilion (Booth 3317, hall 6) at the SEMICON Southeast Asia (SEA) show in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, initiated by BOM (Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij) in cooperation with the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO), Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Malaysia and Brainport Industries. Our CCO, Ralph Stassen, explains the importance of sharing knowledge and global cooperation. “We apply a local-for-local strategy within the Hittech Group, securing an international level of quality and innovation with a drive to let local economics contribute to our success. Part of our mission of sharing knowledge will be a Q&A session at the request of the Malaysian deputy minister of trade. He is responsible for setting up the Semicon growth plan for Malaysia, and it is apparent that the Malaysian government sees a large role in cooperation with Dutch companies.
