This month, our regional well-being initiative is focused on family and financial well-being. My colleague Adri Becken, SHRM-CP reminds us that it's never too early to start saving for your kids' education with a 529 plan, or to encourage small children to think about saving their pennies. Did you also realize you can even start a 529 plan before your child is born? Talk about compounding interest! Do you have a favorite piece of financial advice that a family member shared with you? #WellbeingAtWork #MarshMMA

Conversations about financial topics can be taboo for families, especially as a family member begins to age. When I lost my mom a few years ago, that really jumpstarted financial planning conversations between my dad and me. It's important to start these conversations early to normalize the topic of personal finance, making them less awkward and creating peace of mind when a family member may need a little intervention. I was able to talk with KWCH today about this tricky topic. Take a listen! https://lnkd.in/gNbCD5yQ
