Are you shaping the future of architecture through #AI? Our most recent collaboration with Architizer suggests that it's self-learners and experimenters who are championing the adoption of AI in the architectural field. Driven by the current absence of training resources and specific guidelines, it's clear that the architects of today are framing the best practices of tomorrow. 🔗 Dive deeper into our discoveries and get the full report here: https://bit.ly/44tVgZn

Despite the skepticism around AI adoption, more than half of the architects surveyed by Architects’ Journal say that AI can be good for productivity and 50% are already using it for feasibility testing, early-stage concepts, and materials finishes. AI can enable productivity across project lifecycles for architects eventually resulting in faster turnarounds and more time for creative tasks. At Planarific, we are building a tool that would help architects/designers take up more projects in a year by enabling efficiencies in #homerenovation projects. https://lnkd.in/dJBGNM22

"In the same way computers have replaced drawing on a drawing board, AI allows us to produce better-resolved buildings. AI will become more like an extra team member" Architects’ Journal survey https://lnkd.in/eVJT5hae This sums up the utility and opportunity of AI in built environment that can be of immense value to architects, contractors, project managers, and everyone in the supply chain of buildings. As we move into a world where faster construction technologies, modularisation, off-site manufacturing, and novel materials become the norm, AI integration into design methodologies presents the opportunity to serve a growing population that needs a clean and green environment.

I help Humans align, connect, and engage with other Humans in an increasingly Technology-Driven World | Author | Speaker | Host | Advisor | Facilitator |
For my Architect friends… I’m at The American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Conference and hearing a lot of feedback about sessions on using AI in architecture and walking the expo floor hearing about AI-driven tools. It’s the good, the bad, and the ugly. I’m also getting lots of questions about how AI really is and will be utilized in firms. If you’re wondering the same thing, maybe joining a profession-specific mastermind group focused on business use cases for AI in architecture is the thing for you. If you’re interested, reply in the comments below. #AI #AIinArchitecture #artificialintelligence #AECindustry

The architectural process begins long before design commences. Once the preliminary scope and requirements of the project are defined, our pre-design process involves researching building codes and design codes for the planned structure and location. While these tasks are critical to the success of the project, they are often tedious and time intensive. We are currently exploring several AI tools that assist us with these tasks and provide answers to other questions to reduce the human time and effort this research takes—without compromising accuracy.
