This winter, reliable energy is more critical than ever in Ukraine, where cold temperatures and energy shortages continue to pose significant challenges. In 2023, Enstall Empowers partnered with the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation to provide racking materials for a solar installation at a hospital, ensuring uninterrupted power for essential healthcare services. As the need for sustainable energy grows during these challenging months, we’re proud to continue our work with the Energy Act For Ukraine Foundation. Together, we are helping to expand access to renewable energy in areas where power plants are scarce, building a more resilient future for Ukraine.

Ukraine's energy sector has suffered significant damage due to russian aggression. Renewable energy sources (RES) are the solutions that will ensure recovery and energy efficiency in Ukraine. Now and in the post-war period, green energy should become one of the main sectors in the country's development. That is why our charitable foundation has joined the project "Renewable Energy for Sustainable Ukraine" implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German government. And now to the details 👇 GIZ is the German Society for International Cooperation. On behalf of the German Government, GIZ creates various initiatives. One of the initiatives of the German Government and GIZ is the IKI (International Climate Initiative). The goals of the Renewable Energy Project are: 1️⃣ Promote the development of decentralized renewable energy systems in Ukrainian communities; 2️⃣ Create renewable energy projects in communities to demonstrate the effectiveness of these systems; 3️⃣ Inform about the economic and environmental benefits of these energy systems and promote their scaling up 4️⃣ To increase the capacity of local authorities to implement renewable energy projects. The project "Renewable Energy for Sustainable Ukraine" is implemented by a consortium of NGOs: Energy Act For Ukraine Foundation, EcoClub, Ecodia, RePower Ukraine. We are pleased to participate in the project, which brings Ukraine closer to energy independence and promotes the use of solar energy in the world ☀️

The electricity supply situation in Ukraine remains unstable. Blackout schedules have been in place for the second week in a row. They vary from region to region and last at least four hours a day. 🗣 "Ukraine is gradually switching to the so-called 'island' mode of electricity supply, and this supply will not be the same for everyone. Each region must provide electricity to itself," - said Stanislav Ignatiev, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Renewable Energy Association, on the Kyiv 24 TV channel. Another challenge will be low temperatures in winter, which will lead to even higher electricity consumption. Accordingly, blackout schedules may also become longer. That is why it's worth taking care of your own energy autonomy now — powerful solutions from EcoFlow that meet modern energy challenges will help you do so. The brand's ecosystem includes: 🔹 portable charging stations of various sizes and capacities for both basic and professional energy consumption; 🔹 solar panels that allow you to use free energy for your own needs; 🔹 stationary systems that can make private homes, parts of offices, and businesses independent of the centralized grid; 🔹 smart devices that make the everyday life of Ukrainians more comfortable. So, be ready to winter together. Find indispensable solutions for your energy independence here: https://lnkd.in/dKBE8TgJ We invite you to take a test drive at our EcoFlow Authorised Store at 129 Velyka Vasylkivska Street, Kyiv. The exclusive distributor of EcoFlow in Ukraine is Robotics Distribution, one of the TOP 10 IT distributors in Ukraine, which is part of the DroneUA group of companies.

Ukraine is on the path to energy independence and integration into the European energy market. However, for renewable energy to become the cornerstone of this transformation, numerous barriers, both technical and legislative, must be overcome. Olga Rybachuk, Managing Director of Elementum Energy, discusses this in her column for Ekonomichna Pravda. One of the key barriers, according to Olga, remains the insufficient adaptation of legislation to the rapid changes in the industry. For instance, just last year, restrictions on the implementation of new technologies slowed down the expansion of capacity that could have significantly increased electricity production. Olga also emphasizes the importance of developing infrastructure to ensure a stable supply of renewable energy to every corner of the country. Despite the challenges, each new project brings Ukraine closer to a sustainable future and to achieving its CO2 emissions reduction targets.
